Kellin sat down in one of the chairs of the departures lounge with a huff. After being bombarded by fans and the press, that he had hoped he didn't have to deal with, was tiring. Was it nice to see fans? Yes of course. But, Kellin wasn't in the mood for anything currently.
When he agreed to go on this trip, he knew it was gonna suck in general, but he didn't realize it'd start sucking within the first few hours. Not only did he have to wake up at four in the goddamn morning, he had to deal with the damn traffic of getting to LAX. He couldn't say bye to his friends or bandmates, although his bandmates were slightly annoyed with him.
"You know how you get when you're around him... I just don't think this is a good idea and you shouldn't go."
Kellin shook the memory out of his brain. The poor lead singer was too tired and fed up with everything. His feelings were half because of what he was doing and half because he hadn't eaten at all.
Kellin was only running on two cups of coffee and he was absolutely sure he was going to pass out the second he got on the plane. Which was a bummer since he loved watching the plane take off.
He specifically asked for the window seat.
Aside from starving, tired, and in general clearly annoyed, he had to be around the disgustingly touchy couple that was next to him. He knew he shouldn't even look at them if he was being honest. Not only would it save his feelings of being irritated but, it'd save him from the hurt.
He didn't wanna see Vic look at Nicholas the same way Vic used to look at him. Didn't sound like fun.
"Hey Kells, you look like you're about to pass out," he heard Nicholas say, voicing his thoughts, making Kellin hum. "You're usually not up this early are you?"
Kellin simply shook his head and positioned himself better on the chair. He had his eyes closed and wanted to keep them close, in hopes to not see that happy couple, but he knew he'd end up falling asleep. So begrudgingly let his eyes open, almost being blinded by the lights in the waiting area. He huffed and stood up stretching his arms and legs before grabbing his duffle, searching for his wallet.
Once he found it he looked over to see both Vic and Nicholas staring at him. Nicholas had an amused smile and Vic had a blank stare, "Gonna get food, want anything?"
"I'm good-"
"Wasn't asking you," Kellin quickly cut off Vic, making the older of the two roll his eyes.
"Kellin," Nicholas sighed, making the lead singer roll his eyes as well, "A water bottle is cool... and a slice of banana bread if you can find some?"
"Sure, I'll be back," Kellin said and walked away from the couple. Banana bread...Vic's favorite...
Kellin shook his head and kept walking to find a shop with food instead of knick knacks. He passed by restaurants and bars. Wow, a drink could definitely hit the spot right now. He shook the thought of his head. Too early to get drunk. Kellin finally spotted a store with food and drinks and walked in looking for the things Nicholas asked for.
He grabbed the water bottle from the fridge and grabbed one of those cups to make himself a coffee. He went to the section where they had snacks and grabbed himself a plain muffin, something to hold him over until they got on the plane. He saw a packet of a sliced banana bread and he grimaced.
