A/N 1: Very shocking ending to this chapter, just warning you!!!

Finally the day had arrived! Victor and Nikki were getting married for the last time. Nikki went to Katherine’s where she would get ready with the girls and Victor invited the boys over to the ranch. Nikki was in the living room at Katherine’s house when the doorbell rang, “I’ll get it!” Summer exclaimed running to the door. It was Avery, “Aunt Avery finally you’re here!” Summer screamed hugging her aunt. “Hi sweetie, is everyone already here?” Avery asked “Yep, come on in.” Summer said showing her into the living room. “Hello Avery” Nikki said “Oh Nikki you have got to see the cake, I finished it this morning.” Avery said pulling out her phone. She showed Nikki the picture, “Oh it’s beautiful!” Nikki gasped. The cake had four layers, each circle smaller than the other. With white frosting and dark red bows all around it, the same color as the dresses. On the inside it was red velvet with cream filling and on the top Avery had written, “Mr. and Mrs. Newman”. “Oh Avery that is stunning” Victoria said looking at the picture. “Thank you, I do think it’s the best cake I’ve ever baked.” Avery told them. “I can’t wait until we have to eat it and Victor sees it.” Nikki said beaming, “Oh yes how is the groom today?” Katherine asked “Actually I haven’t seen him today; he was up before I left and went out for a ride.” Nikki replied. “Awww he doesn’t want to see you until it’s time.” Abby squealed. “Yes because last time he saw me in my dress before and look where that got us.” Nikki said “Hey don’t go thinking like that.” Katherine warned “I’m sorry you’re right, Victor and I are very happy together, there hasn’t been a night this week that we haven’t . . . “Nikki stopped remembering Summer and Faith were in the room. “Okay that’s enough of that!” Victoria laughed “I think we all should start getting ready.” Abby said “Good idea.” Nikki agreed heading upstairs.

At the ranch Victor was getting ready with Nick and Noah. “So how’s Mom today?” Nick asked putting on his tie. “I actually went for a ride before she got up this morning and when I got back she had already left for Katherine’s.” Victor replied picking up a brand new bottle of his tequila. “Isn’t it a little early for that Grandpa?” Noah asked taking the bottle from Victor “Oh my boy I’m getting married today, to the woman I really truly love, it’s a day to celebrate.” Victor replied taking the bottle from Noah and pouring himself a glass. There was a knock on the door, “That would be Adam.” Victor said walking to the door “Oh joy.” Nick groaned looking at Noah. Victor opened the door and there was Adam with Chelsea, “Son, Chelsea, welcome.” He said letting them in. “Hello Father, Nicholas, Noah.” Adam said walking into the living room. Neither Nick nor Noah said anything, the tension in the room grew thick and Chelsea felt uneasy around the four Newman men. “So what time do we need to be at the church?” she asked trying to lighten the mood. “Well the wedding is at 1:00 and I’m going at 12:30 so if you all want to come then I think it would be best.” Victor said “Okay that sounds good, do you and Nikki need me to do any last minute things?” Chelsea asked “No I don’t think so; you can go down to the church if you want with the other guests though.” Victor told her. “Oh, well okay I guess I can do that.” Chelsea said. Adam followed her to the door, “Good luck, I’ll see you soon.” She whispered “Thanks, and remember keep your eyes open.” Adam whispered back. They kissed goodbye and Chelsea was gone. Adam walked back into the living room, “So gentlemen what are we to do until we have to leave?” he asked “Well, son we are to wait and get prepared for my big day.” Victor said taking sip of tequila.

Back at Katherine’s house the ladies were all dressed and they had just finished with their hair. They were all gathered in the living room waiting for Nikki to come down the stairs. “Okay Grandma we’re ready!” Summer called “Here I come!” Nikki called back. Seconds later she appeared; her dress was a bright white of course. It went a little above her knees and hugged her curves; it had three quarter sleeves and in the middle was a rhinestone heart pin that was placed right above her waistline.  Her hair was in tiny curls with the front pulled back and pinned with a small rhinestone heart hairpin. Nikki walked down the stairs with the biggest smile on her face; “Well?” she asked when she reached the bottom of the staircase. “It’s beautiful Mom, you’re beautiful.” Victoria said hugging her mother. “Aunt Vikki’s right Grandma.” Summer agreed. “All I can say is Victor is gonna have one hell of a time tonight.” Katherine laughed at herself. “Okay! That’s a little too far!” Nikki exclaimed throwing her hands up in the air, “My fiancé is probably waiting at the church for me.” She said heading towards the door. “Is it that time already?” Abby asked “Yes it is!” Summer cried running to open the door for Nikki, “Thank you Summer” Nikki said “You’re welcome Grandma, good luck.” Summer smiled.

Jill knocked on the front door of Jack’s house. She had just arrived to pick him up for the wedding. The door opened and there he was, “Hi, come in.” He said “Thanks.” She replied following him in. “You look like you didn’t get any sleep last night.” Jill said “yeah well I had a lot of dreams about all the time I’ve spent with Nikki.” Jack told her “I know the feeling; all I could think about last night was Tucker.” “Oh Jill I can’t believe you’re making me do this.” “Come on Jack, we agreed to this. You came with me to Tucker and Genevieve’s wedding and now you need to face Victor and let him know that you’re not jealous like I did with Genevieve.” “But that’s not the case Jill, you and I are both jealous!” “Yes we are Jack but we cannot spend the rest of our lives living in total jealousy. We need to move on and find other people.” “You’re not saying what I think you’re saying are you?” Jack asked in shock. “Oh no, I’m not talking about you and me together again.” She laughed “Oh good because . . . because that would be just strange.” “Yes I agree.” “Well should we get this over with?” Jack asked “I’m ready when you are.” Jill told him.

Jack and Jill entered the church and took their seats in the back. “Do Victor and Nikki know you brought me?” Jack asked “Well no but if you behave yourself I don’t think they’ll notice you’re here.” She replied. They looked around and saw Billy sitting near the front with Avery, Chelsea and Johnny. “Billy!” Jill called. Billy turned around, “Hey, Mom, Jack what are you doing here?” he asked “He’s my quote-un-quote date for the evening.” Jill laughed “Oh I see well good luck with that.” Billy laughed. Then it was time, the music began to play and Victor took his place up front with the reverend. First came Noah and Summer down the aisle, then Adam and Abby. Abby tried to put on a happy face but she was locking arms with Adam she glanced at Avery and Katherine who just nodded. Nicholas and Victoria came next followed by Faith and Reed. Finally the moment came, “Here Comes the Bride” began to play and Nikki emerged from the doors. She looked straight up front at Victor. Her eyes locked with his as she slowly made her way to him. Their eyes never left each other’s. Once Nikki reached Victor he took her hands in his, “Dearly beloved,” the reverend began. “I cannot believe you’re making me sit through this.” Jack growled at Jill. “Oh hush if I did it then you can do it too.” She hissed back. Summer watched as her grandparents held hands and the huge smiles that never left their faces. She was so happy for them and found herself hoping that someday that would be her father and Avery, Victoria looked across at Nick, he was watching their parents too. They had all been here before but she hoped that this was for sure the last time and her mother wouldn’t get heartbroken all over again. Nikki felt Victor’s hands squeeze her tighter with every passing second, she was really standing there at the alter again with the same man she had married twice before. She, like her daughter prayed that this would be the last marriage she would ever have to commit to. Victor looked into Nikki’s eyes; they were sparkling more than usual today. He knew how much she wanted this to work out and he was willing to sacrifice anything to keep her by his side. “I love you” he mouthed to her. Nikki nodded her head in agreement. The vows were said and then the reverend said, “If anyone here has any objections as to why these two should not be joined together in holy matrimony speak your peace now.” Jill glanced at Jack; “Yeah I do!” he shouted and stood up. The crowd gasped in sheer horror. “What the hell are you doing here?” Victor asked. “Oh my gosh Jack.” Nikki whispered cowering behind Victor.

A/N 2: Didn't see that one coming did you? Well if you did good for you. Now the real question is, will Niktor get the happy ending they want?
