As we walked up to the little shop I was familiar with, I pushed the door open allowing Nichole to walk in. Her face held a remarkable expression as she didn't know where we were. I smirked as her face lightly illuminated with contentment from the interior. The place was themed like a modern cafe. The wooden furniture placed around the room made the place radiate with a warm atmosphere. The light Carmel painted walls covered with different pictures of tea and coffee mugs steaming from there warm liquid. I waited by the counter as we were soon greeted by a waiter and sat down. We were seated near a window at a small table for two. The table was small giving more room for the two of us to be closer. As Nichole took a seat on the stool I went to mine and did the same.

"What can I get for you two?" The waiter asked with a fake smile plastered on his face.

I looked over at Nichole wondering if she was ever going to speak. We didn't talk much in the car as I played music. I couldn't stop looking at her, she was just so beautiful. As her lips moving of what she wanted I came back into reality telling the gentleman in front of us what I wanted. As he walked away, Nichole took off her bag and settling it too hang off the back of her chair her cell phone in hand. As she went to unlock her phone I took it from her loose grasp.

"Your on a date, you could have some respect." I told her lightly trying not to sound too serious.

Her phone still held in my hands in front of us she tried to pry it from my fingers. As she failed, I put the phone in my jacket pocket. Taking off my jacket and putting it on the back of my chair the atmosphere around us fell silent. Thinking to myself too soon as she spoke.

"I've never seen this place before, but then again I've never been this far into the country here." She explained.

"My family and myself used to come here all the time. Until the split." I replied to her comment.

My parents got divorced when I was only 7. Life become rough without my dad, but it made me closer to my mum than I had been before. I told her everything, besides my intimacy with girls. I think that would upset her. As I notice the waiter coming back with our drinks he asked if we needed anything. I watched Nichole respond shaking her head no, as I mimicked her response it being the same. I didn't take my eyes off Nichole as she kept gazing around the room. She became very interested in her surroundings until I finally spoke my thoughts.

"You're very beautiful." The words quietly slipped from my mouth. Only she could hear what I had said, my eyes widening as my mind comprehended what I had just said aloud.

"What?" She tried to act like she didn't hear anything.

I gave her a stern look as we both know what I said. I didn't reply to her as she pierced her eyes onto me when I pulled my phone out of my pants pocket. She held her hand in front of my face asking for my phone.

"It's not fair if you can have your phone out, but I can't have mine." She said whilst taking my phone that was loosely held by one of my hands.

I went to take it back before it had already landed in her back pocket. I smirked at the thought in my head that I did want to say.

"I'm not afraid to reach into your back pocket and retrieve my phone Nichole." I told her, noticing the pink rise to her cheeks.

"Well until I get my phone back it looks like you'll have to either attempt to retrieve it or give me my phone and I'll give yours back." She replied confidently.

"Well for now, I don't need it as I am on a date with this girl in front of me." I said trying to make her feel special.

She smiled until I notice her face wince the tiniest bit, as she excused herself to the loo.
