She swung at me. I was hit right in the head.
I woke up in a hospital room, strapped to the chair. There was a tv screen showing an ad for "Durvel Tech." There motto was, "For a better future." On the chairs, there were stickers with Durvel Tech's logo on them. I looked back on the screen where they explained how they send humans who are criminals, to the middle of nowhere, to do work until they are 40 years old, when they send them back to the real world. I was confused. I was in those circumstances, but what had I done wrong? And why would she kill Rufus? I had so many questions. I was going to ask the doctor when they arrived.
After waiting for 2 hours, I was certain no one was coming to check on me. I thought of this as my chance to make a break for it. I tried to break through the straps, but I was too weak. It must've been pills, because I knew I was strong enough to break through the straps.
After trying for a while with no results, I decided to slide my hands out the strap. I spat on my hand to make it slippery, and it worked. I did the same on the other side, but my right leg was strapped into a chain. I couldn't slide out of that. So I did something very unlike me
(TW)I had to get out, so I pulled my foot out until it ripped skin off of my foot, I quietly screamed in pain. It worked, but my foot was practically unusable. I didn't care though, I just needed to get the hell out of this place. I opened the door and out in the halls, it was dark, like the hospital was closed, but I could hear shuffling in a room 3 doors down. Curiosity got the best of me. I checked through the window, and saw a man with my grandma, taking. He was probably 7"2. I was taken aback by his height, and was scared. I made my way through the hall as quietly as possible. When I reached the exit, I opened it, but there was no sky bridge to the other side. It was just a drop down probably 400 feet high.
I almost fell. I turned around to find an exit, only to see, my grandma and that man walking towards me. I was trapped between them and the large drop. I decided to climb outside the door, but when I was on the first window are, the man grabbed me with his huge arm. He was holding me by my foot, over the large drop. He held me by my bloody foot, and told my grandma, "I'm dropping him." "Ok." She replied. I looked in disbelief. My dear grandma. I glared as I felt his hand drop the grip , and I fell for what felt like hours, reminiscing on my life. I really was going to die.
