2 MONTHS, 2 WEEKS

"I never thought these movie nights felt so good."

"You love it?"

"I don't think I have the connection to that extent, though."

"I should've figured."

They're now seated on the hood of their car, with their hands intertwined and the free hands reaching to the snacks laid between them. They just discovered this place where they hold weekly movie nights for free.

"I've heard that our humans do these things, too. I've just never had the chance to join them because of our responsibilities as royalties."

"Now is not the time for that talk, Minho. We're with other people."

"Oh, shoot. I'm sorry."

They were watching a zombie movie and Minho mentioned that they also exist in Omnia, and they're actually nice creatures, though they really have to be placed on the opposite side as humans to avoid collision.

Halfway through the movie, Jisung decided to move between Minho's legs, resting his back on Minho's chest. Ever since their hike to Seorak-san, Jisung's been acting that they were a couple. He's been giving Minho kisses and hugs, and the alien wouldn't mind, because he didn't know what those actions meant to Jisung.

Minho wrapped his arms around Jisung's body and they stayed like that as the continued watching.

Jisung felt safe that they were watching a scary movie. No love scenes. Nothing to make their situation awkward.

Oh, to have Jisung's bad judgment.

Suddenly, the main characters, a man and a woman were stuck inside a room. A swarm or zombies slowly destroying the barricades they set up.

The woman cried in the man's arms. They exchanged a few words of encouragement, and the man hinted that he'd sacrifice himself for the lady.

And there it was. What Jisung feared. Not the chase, not the blood, not the zombies.

This.

An exchange of I love yous that Jisung dreaded, and afterwards, a passionate kiss was shown.

"Hey, didn't we do that at Mount Seorak-san?"

Jisung felt his whole body heat up. He doesn't have a mirror but he knows he's red as a tomato.

"Yah, Jisung. Does that mean...you love me?"

Jisung turned to see Minho's hand hovering over his mouth, mimicking a shocked face.

"No, you idiot! I could kiss you right now and it won't mean anything!"

"I'm just playing with you. I'm sorry, I got you worked up." Minho placed a kiss on Jisung's forehead and hugged him once again.

Why are you doing this to me, Minho?

"I....I need to pee."

"Do you want me to a-"

"No, I'll be right back. Just stay there."

Jisung didn't wait for any response from Minho as he hopped off the car, and ran towards the exit of the venue.

When he felt like he was far enough from the people, he let out the tears that had been wanting to roll down his eyes ever since Minho gave him a kiss on his forehead.
