Dusk to Dawn (A hybrid assassin's story)

Dusk

Dusk waited in the trees silently looking at her father picking berries off the lowest tree. 

This is the week. I can get him before mom comes to pick me up. I CAN DO THIS!

She lunged out of the tree and tackled her father as they rolled down the hill of grass and rocks. Her father got out his knife and pinned his daughter down to the rock floor of the mountain holding the sharp object to her neck.

"OK OK CHILL DAD! IT WAS JUST ME!"

"Dusk what have I said about you attacking me. You need practice, but at least don't do it on me," said her father with a chuckle.  He got off and put the knife back in his pouch and helped her up.

"Dad...when can I go on a mission?" asked Dusk hopefully. Her father looked at her with a worried yet stern look.

"When I say your old enough Dusk," he replied before flapping back up the mountain. Dusk was standing there her talons clenched. 

He doesn't decide when I can go on a mission. Well he can but I'm going on the next mission and not telling him that there is a mission.  I am the one that gets the messages because dad can't stand they tiny Rainwing's voice. Neither can I.

She walked back up the mountain thinking what to train on next. Her mother would never let her fight her. Rain was too scared of getting hit in the horns and underbelly. And all the other Rainwing's and Nightwings were terrified of her wherever she went. She was royalty, but thats no reason for other dragons to be scared of her. She's only a dragonet, so why is it that everyone is scared of her. Was there some prophecy she didn't know about or a fate for others including her?

She sigh and open her wings to fly, but hear as creeeeek. She'd turn around...creeeeekk.

There was a crack in the trees. Dusk wiped around in enough time to see a Sandwing leaping for her with a dagger in his grasp.  But not any normal Sandwing. It looked like he was a brownish yellow and was more muscular than normal. Dusk lept out of the way and pulled out her fathers old disc's. Her father used them to try and kill Blaze. 

"FATHER HELP-" she yelled but was inturupted but the Sandwing pining her to the floor and holding the dagger to her neck.

"Your coming with me Princess Dusk," said the Sandwing. He had a deep yet soft voice that she became fond of but realized that she was in trouble. 

"Ok, one I'm not coming with you, and two, never call me 'Princess' again," said Dusk in a calm voice with a low growl. The Sandwing was flung off her and she saw her father battling the Sandwing as soon as she got up. She threw her one of her discs at the Sandwing and it hit his leg. He fell to the floor with a grunt.

"Heat...I should have known," said her father with a stern yet angry voice," I told you that I wont ever let the H.A.A. get their hands on my children. I have trained them. Better than your mother  ever would." He'd growl. Dusk heard the word 'children' and she froze.

Do I have a sibling...I thought I was the only child mom and dad had...were they lying...did he mess up his words...does this make me a older or younger sibling...why did they never tell me?

"Father...w-who is this...he's my age, trying to kill me, AND WHAT IN THE MOONS IS THE H.A.A.?!," asked Dusk with a loss for words, "and...and...children...d-do I have a sibling o-or did you mess up with words o-or have you been l-lying to me my entire life?!"

Deathbringer stared at her in amazement. She hadn't always been the bravest as asking serious questions like that and she hated shouting. He gave her a sad glance then looked back at Heat who was giggling.

"You really never told her anything have you. When Infinity left to help Quickstrike after the death of Deep we lost our best assassin. But they just had to go and find you didn't they," said Heat with a chuckle afterwards.

"Anyway, I'm here to report a message from our leader. She wants you and five others to kill Queen Ruby," said Heat in a bit of a glad tone as he pointed at Dusk. She froze and her eyes widened.

"Y-you want me...to go on a mission...," she said looking amazed.

"Not me," said Heat, "Our leader does. And her name is Endless."

TA-DA!!! yes this was short and a bit boring but i think i did good. sorry i didnt post this yesterday i was busy. but hope u enjoy and i need two hybrid ideas. the have to include the name their name, the mix they are, and their special abitlity if they have one. sooo yea. baii homies
