"Look at you!" he spun her around to get a good look at her in her dress. "You clean up nice."

"Hey!" One of the attending guards snapped at him. "You're allowed to hold hands. That's it."

"Shut up," Bill growled at the other guard. "They've met before, you moron."

"Oh sorry, Bill. Forgot the psycho killer is your good buddy," he huffed.

"Can someone get a muzzle for this guy?" Zack rolled his eyes. He never anticipated that there would be an actual ceremony, but it meant something to Ray, and this guy was being a fucking drag. "Seriously though," he grabbed her hands and smiled at her. "You're the prettiest thing I've ever seen."

He was sure that they looked like the most ridiculous couple. Ray made the perfect bride, of course. The dictionary definition of the chaste, virgin bride. She opted to do it right, going full traditional with a lacy white dress. Meanwhile, he was wearing his tan prison uniform, nasty scars on full display for all to see. She didn't seem to be bothered by them at all though. In fact, she was rubbing her thumbs over the raised scars on the back of his hands.

That pretty white dress covered everything but her arms. There wasn't a hint of cleavage or even in a collarbone in sight. Good. He didn't need his girl to be ogled by the handful of prisoners and guards that were forced to attend. He on the other hand, had every intention of worshiping every inch of her pretty little body... if she didn't change her mind about the sex, that was. Hell, there was a strong possibility that she'd change her mind about being married to him once she saw the big picture.

"There are a lot of rules about what I'm allowed to wear when I visit you." She blushed. "You can take it off when we're done here though... if you want."

"Pfft. If I want." He rolled his eyes. "You're still out of your fucking mind. No wonder you're doing this."

"I'm doing this because there's no one in the world who's more important to me. I love you."

He tensed up at that. It was still weird to hear.

"I- you... me too," he stammered nervously. "I mean- you know. Hey! Can we do this thing already?!"

"If you're ready to begin," the officiant agreed.

"Yep! Let's do it. Let's do this thing!"

"Please," Ray agreed graciously, clearly not offended by his awkward antics. After five years apart, she was still willing to tolerate how rude and inconsiderate he was.

"We gather here today to celebrate the union of Rachel and Zack. Marriage is a lifelong promise between partners and each union hosts its own unique challenges, requiring dedication and perseverance, honesty and communication, and love and patience to endure as a kept promise between two people. You have come here to witness the formal commitment they make to one another and to support their union."

Huh. Fancy speech. As far as he could tell, that was just a complicated way of telling them that lying to each other was bad. That much was obvious. He made a commitment a long time ago not to tell a lie, but it was especially true with Ray.

"Will you, Isaac Foster, take Rachel Gardner to be your wedded wife?"

"Obviously."

"And will you, Rachel Gardner, take Isaac Foster to be your wedded husband?"

"I will."

"I now invite the bride and the groom to share the vows you have written for each other."

"Uhh... Was I supposed to do that?" He whispered to her. "Because..."

"Of course I didn't expect you to write vows."

"Right." He sulked. He was the worst. Why the hell was she doing this again?
