"omg dana i can't believe we're moving to new york next week" i say to my cousin on facetime as i'm packing my last box of things

me and dana are both puerto rican, our dads are cousin and they used to live together but then my dad got with my mom and had my brother and then me and so did my uncle with his current ex wife

zabdiel is 23 and i just turned 18, my birthday is August 19 dana is a couple months older than me, her birthday is April 20

my whole family was there from mom and dad's side i went to pick up dana, she grew up with my moms family a lot like i did so they see her like family
as we arrived we see everyone in two separate lines and they tell me to walk to the living room, dana pulled out her phone and started recording
"loca tu que ases?" i say to her
"nada diablo tu camina" she says and pushes me a bit and i laugh and walk into the living room
i see my parents standing next to each other and see a little bald head in the back, dana starts jumping and smiles like crazy which causes me to laugh
"loca" i say to her
"mija tu ya sabes que yo te quiero mucho, and i'm sorry for being against you going to new york i'm proud of you mi amor" my dad says and kisses my forehead
"mi niña, te voy a extrañar tanto mi amor que no te imaginas" my mom says
"so that's why we decided to surprise you" dana says

"SORPRESA!!!" a exited zabdiel appears from the back of my parents

"hola nena" he says and i run to him and hug him and people cheer
i haven't seen my brother for like two years now
