chapter 16

erick started to lean in, i wanted to move but my body wouldn't let me, ericks hand was at the back of my neck as his soft lips brushed past my lips

"why?" he says and leans his head back towards the seat, i close his door and walk to the drivers side and put my seat belt on, start the car and start driving to his apartment

i parked his car in the parking lot and go to his side and help him out

he puts his arm around my shoulders as i have my arm around his waist and with the other holding his arm that's around me

we make it to his apartment and zabdiel sent me the code, i put the code in and we walk in and erick put his full weight on me, it was a lot for me to carry on my own and it caused us to fall

he fell next to me but his arm was still around me

me being the bigger person here i decided to be mature and i move out of the way to get out of this position that we were both in

as i was moving his arm from my body he shifts towards me and pulls me closer towards him with his arm that i was trying to move from myself

"can we just stay like this?" he says in a low deep yet soft voice

i turned to look at him and his eyes remained closed

"let me hold you one last time" he says as his eyes flustered open gently

"please" he looked so vulnerable

i will always have a weak spot for him, he put a spell on me because i don't care about anyone but my family yet i'm over here caring for him

wanting to take care of him

"okay fine but let's get you changed and in bed" i say as i look at his eyes

"okay" he says and we get up and walk to his room

"can you get changed on your own or do you need help" i ask as we enter his room

"i don't think so" he said as i sat him down on his bed and he fell back onto his bed

"where's your clothes?" i ask him

"it's in there" he says as he points towards his drawer

i walk to it and get him a white v neck shirt and a pair of pajama pants and put it next to him on the bed

"can you help me?" he asks as he managed to sit up with by the way it took his drunk self a while to sit up

"oh my god you're so drunk, here i'll help you get changed" i say as i start to unbutton his shirt

"you haven't undressed me in a while, i kind of missed it" he said with a smirk as i took his shirt off

"stop it" i said but i couldn't help but smile at his comment

"you know you missed it too" he said as i put his white t-shirt on him

"just shut up and put your pants on, i'll go to my apartment to pick up some clothes"

"you're staying?"

"yes it's not good to leave you alone when you're drunk"

"just wear my clothes, i don't you to leave"

"you sure?"

"yeah"

"okay"

i go to his drawer and grab a black shirt and pair of shorts and go into the bathroom to change i go back out and my things on a table

i walk towards him and put him under the covers

"i'll be sleeping in the living room in case you need anything" i say and then we hear thunder

personally i'm someone that loves to sleep during a thunderstorm i find it calming and easy to sleep

"i know you love to sleep during a storm why don't you come and sleep on the bed with me"

"no it's okay, goodnight" i say with a soft smile

i feel a grip wrap around my wrist

"please stay" he says

"fine" i say

i walk to the other side of the bed and get under the covers with him too and close my eyes to sleep

i then feel a weight on my chest, i open my eyes to see ericks head on it and him cuddling me

"i miss this" i said underneath my breath

"i heard you" he says as he looks up at me with a smile

"just shut up go back to sleep" i say as i blush

"okay" he says and then kisses me

i played with his hair hair and he started singing "llegaste tu" in a soft sweet harmony
it felt like it was just the two of us in this world

and bit by bit we fell asleep in this position
