Chapter 2- Unaccepted Mate

*Trey’s POV*

            I ran up into my room, slammed the door shut, slid down to the floor, and started crying. I could not believe him! Even if he didn’t want me, why did he have to kiss her in-front of me? The tears kept on pouring down, “Trey please let me explain! It is not what it looks like! She forced herself on me! I did not know what was happening until she was on me! I’m so sorry!”

*Nate’s POV*

            I was rambling on to her outside of her room, and then I heard her melodic voice, filled with unshed tears yell at me. “Go away! I never want to speak to you again!” My heart ripped out of my chest at that moment. I knew that she had been pushed to the end, she was broken.

            I knew that she had been hurt too many times, and it was all my fault. First she had to have bad powers, and then she thought that I did not want her, it had to be tough. I wish I could just barge in there, take her in my arms, and kiss all of her doubts away. I sighed, “Please Trey let me explain, I am so sorry, and I do not want anybody but you.”  I heard even more tears being let out in the room.

            “How can you same that type of thing to me? You do not even want me! Go sleep with one of your whores, and leave me alone.” I felt tears on my cheeks as she said those words; my heart was a crumpled mess waiting to be cleaned up off the floor. “I’m sorry Trey, please forgive me.” Those were my last words before I turned around and went into my room to go to sleep.

*Trey’s POV*

            The tears kept on coming, it was like a damn had exploded; I could not stop them. There was only pain in my body, I kept on thinking that maybe he would change and fall in love with me. Boy was I wrong! I walked over to my bed, laid on it, and willed myself to go to sleep. Finally after hours of tossing and turning, I fell asleep, but right at the edge of my consciousness I felt my bed dip, and somebody curl up next to me.

*Nate’s POV*

            I couldn’t take it anymore; I got up, went into her bedroom, curled myself around her, and fell asleep.  The next morning I felt a harsh sting on my cheek; I opened my eyes, and came face to face with Trey standing over me with a furious expression on her beautiful face. “What the hell are you doing here? I thought I told you I never wanted to see you again.” I smiled sheepishly, “I wanted to sleep with you. Is that bad?”

            I knew the answer to that question, “Of course it is! You invaded my privacy! What if I was having a guy in the bed with me and you barged in on me!” I growled as my wolf took over. He smashed her up to the wall, took her face in my hands and snarled, “No man will ever touch you, and if someone does I will kill him.” He snarled, and then finally I took over, I looked at Trey and she had tears streaming down her face.

            “How dare you? You have no control over me! You might be my mate but you do not want me so you have no control over me.” I looked down guiltily. I couldn’t tell her, I wanted to so bad but I couldn’t. They would come after her if I did.

*Trey’s POV*

            I watched as Nate looked like he was having a mental breakdown, and then he had me pressed up against him. “I can not tell you why I can’t be with you, but once I take care of the problem I will make sure you are mine.” With that last statement he turned, and walked out the door. I breathed out in relief, I sat down on my bed, and I was still shaking. Oh My God if he always had this control over me then I don’t know what I would’ve done.  

*Nate’s POV*

            I walked out on her, I couldn’t do this, I had to kill them fast. If I didn’t I would loose Trey forever. I sighed, walked over to my bed, laid down, and thought about what I was going to do. The next thing I knew somebody was jumping on my bed. “Nate you have to wake up now! Trey was kidnapped by the vampires and if you don’t get there soon they’ll kill her!”

            I jumped out of the bed, rushed into the closet, got dressed, grabbed my sister’s hand, and ran down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs I saw Adrian crying while Gage tried to comfort her. “You! This is all your fault! You are the reason my baby is gone!” I flinched at Adrian’s words, “I know it is my fault, I thought I was protecting her from them by staying away from her!” We all gathered up a plan to get to Trey, and while we did that Adrian had ran out of the house to go for a run. Gage had tried to talk her out of it but she would not listen. Finally after a few hours of talking we all got into the car to drive to save my baby.
