It was seven in the evening and the family started to leave for the party.

mr. and mrs. bang had already left for the destination to check if everything was fine. they were supposed to meet mr. and mrs. lee there and they all had to make sure that all the arrangements were properly made.

"i'll sit at the back." "oh, in your dreams~?" "oh come on! you both can sit there. why do you always have to fight." chan said, shaking his head, laughing at his children's behaviour.

finally, seungmin and jisung sat at the back, felix, changbin and jeongin in the middle and minho in the passenger seat while chan drove the car.

"hey, have mumma, papa (as in mr. and mrs. lee) reached the destination?" "yeah. papa just got free from work at six." chan hummed and continued to drive.

they reached the destination and entered the hall. there were so many relatives, friends and colleagues. the couple was shocked to say the least. the hall was so nicely decorated with beautiful golden-beige silk curtains and decorations and, white tables and chairs. the room was illuminated by golden lighting along with the maroon lamps that rested on the black counters.

the couple then saw mr. and mrs. lee, whom they greeted and hugged. the older couple wished them and they talked for a while.

people kept on coming to minho and chan, wishing them, and soon, they saw one of their aunts coming their way. interesting person, i must say.

she excitedly came to them and pinched their cheeks. "it's already been twenty years? oh my god, chan. minho, i have literally seen him grow since the day he was born. kids grow up so fast these days." she shook her head and chuckled.

"so, how does it feel, old man?" she laughed at her own statement while chan just rubbed his nape letting out a nervous chuckle.

"oh come on sweety. hey min, do you guys still have fun?" she asked with a smirk finding it's way through her lips. "i mean you should. age is just a number. at last, what matters is you guys and your feelings." she winked. the couple understood what she meant and blushed while she chuckled at their expressions. "how cute!"

before she could say anything else, chan and minho were being called by their parents.

when they reached there, they had a cake cutting ceremony, after which, the crowd started screaming, "kiss. kiss. kiss." chan quickly scooped some cake icing with his finger and pressed it onto minho's lips while the other stood there confused, lost. he then leaned towards minho, who was absolutely clueless at the moment, and placed a chaste kiss on his lips subtly licking the cream off minho's lips (a/n: yes, he made sure no one saw the tongue thing :p ), making minho widen his eyes in shock as the crowd screamed 'aww.' minho was a blushing mess which made chan giggle. although the couple had been married for so long, minho wasn't used to kissing in front of his parents and other relatives.

the rest of the evening involved a lot of talking followed by dance.

by the time the party got over, many people were drunk and were sent home. the others were leaving. it indeed, was a tiring day.

mr. and mrs. bang had to leave an hour early as mr. bang had an important meeting the very next day and their home was a little too far from where the party was.

mr. and mrs. lee along with minho, chan and the kids were the last ones to leave after seeing off the guests.

minho lifted jeongin who was already asleep and sat in the car with the baby in his lap. the rest of the kids were also half asleep.

they dropped felix at his apartment and started their way home.

by the time, they reached home, chan and minho were the only ones awake.

they tucked the kids in and then went into their own room.

a/n: okay, so idk what got into me but i've already written till chapter 9 and just can't wait to upload *squeals for no reason*
