"just don't think too much about him, okay dumbass?" jisung said laughing, ruffling his brother's hair. the younger lightly punched him before nodding and smiling. the two, then, entered the school building.

the moment seungmin entered his loud class, it started to go silent, with all the faces turning towards him. he was confused as to what had happened. he turned around to see if the teacher had come but no, he hadn't. he started getting nervous.

he then saw none other than hwang hyunjin, walking towards him from the back of the class, with a smirk. he froze in his place.

the taller boy came closer to him and lifted his chin with his finger and seungmin gulped. "look who we have here," said hyunjin and some random girl shouted, "an asshole," and laughed at her own words.

"oh no girl." hyunjin shook his head. "first, i didn't ask you and second, he isn't what you said. he is my boyfriend." hyunjin smiled.

but his expression changed in a second as he said, "oh wait. we aren't boyfriends. you know why-" "cuz you rejected him," laughed out half the class together making hyunjin snicker. so, he told them all...

"i... uhm... i... i ... i like your dance... i like you..." hyunjin mocked seungmin as the boy just looked at the floor. he felt humiliated. he wanted to run back home and cry in his room. he needed someone to hug him.

just as he was about to run out of the class, the teacher came and so, he went to sit at his desk. he balled his fists, trying his best to keep his tears from falling out of his already glassy eyes.

once the first period got over, the boy ran to the backstairs of the school and broke into tears. he hated this. he hated his classmates. he hated hwang hyunjin.

he wiped away his tears and washed his face in the washroom, and decided not to tell jisung, or anyone in the family for that case, about what had happened because he knew they would get angry.

he put on his usual happy facade before meeting jisung at the school gate.

days passed and the teasing and mockery soon turned into bullying where his classmates, even in the absence of hyunjin, would bad mouth him and say really harsh things to him, even push him or intentionally bump into him making him fall. even his friends stopped talking to him and coming home to cry into his pillow, became a regular part of the boy's life.
