Linkin Park Oneshots!!

Hit the Floor

"Oh my god, look at him!" Jo sat in front of the TV, engrossed in an MTV episode featuring her favorite band, Linkin Park.

"Ugh, you're seriously still watching that?" Dana scoffed. She never really understood her sister's obsession with Linkin Park, not that she'd cared to look into it. Jo always overplayed their music and gushed over their lead singer, Chester Bennington.

"Yeah, cmon, get out of the way!" Jo demanded, as Dana stood in front of the TV with a smirk on her face. The two sisters always liked to mess with each other.

"No!" Dana laughed at her sister as she struggled to push her out of the way. Dana grabbed the remote and almost switched the channel before Jo tried to pry it from her hands.

"C'mon! This is an important part!" Jo squealed.

Dana hesitated for a moment to glance at the TV.

"And before the commercial break, we have our special guests coming back, Linkin Park!" The hosts announced.

"Lemme see that!" Jo pushed Dana out of the way to see the band members.

The show cut to a commercial break.

"Girls, settle down!" Mom's shrill voice stopped the both of them in their tracks. "Have you even started packing? We go to California tomorrow night, remember?"

"Moooom! Dana keeps taking the remote!" Jo whined like a two year old, despite being eighteen.

"Yeah, cuz you keep watching that Linkin Park stuff! What do you expect?" Dana teased.

Mom walked over and took the remote from Jo's hands and switched off the TV, to which Jo groaned and Dana smirked. "Go pack, now." Mom demanded.

They went to school for that day, as they had a night flight. As Dana walked around the lunchroom to find a seat, she saw her sister and friends, drooling over Jo's flip phone.

"Hey, whatcha looking at?" Dana snatched the phone from her sister's hand, reading an article about a Linkin Park performance the night after. "Oh." She handed the phone back to her sister in dismay.

"What do you mean, Oh?" Jo's friend, Ivy looked to Dana in shock. "It's Linkin Park, and they're performing tomorrow! Oh I'm so jealous that you get to be so close to them, maybe you'll even meet them!" Ivy gushed.

Dana didn't even say a word, she shook her head and rolled her eyes as she walked away.

After landing at the airport and grabbing their stuff, Jo and Dana waited outside while their parents got a rental car. "Maybe I should get a rental car, so I can go see them tomorrow!" Jo jumped up and down.

"There's no way Mom and Dad are gonna allow that. "Dana sighed.

"It's called sneaking out, duh." Jo scoffed at her twin, they were so similar yet so opposite it was insane.

"Well, you can't." Dana smirked.

"Uh, yes I can? What do you mean?" Jo rolled her eyes at her sister, holding up her driver's license. "You're just jealous you can't because you failed your driver's test."

"Uh, no you can't, ever heard of reading signs? It says you have to be at least 25 to rent a car from LAX." Dana stated.

Jo whipped around and read the sign, scoffing. "Well I guess I'll have to ask Grandma if I can go out tomorrow then."
