Bakugo had agreed to sleep in Shinsou's dorm room that night, since he didn't want the other boy to mess up his room that was 'so fucking tidy my shitty mother would faint from fucking shock if she saw it'. Shinsou didn't really care about tidiness as long as he could walk to one side of a room without breaking his ankle, so his room was covered in clothes, stationary and random objects that had fallen off of his shelves or his desk, with a small path of carpet from the door to the bed. Why bother tidying if barely anyone's coming in here anyway? Safe to say he was regretting thinking like that. He could tell Bakugo was judging him on the state of his room, and a bead of sweat made it's way down his temple. He hadn't really cared when Jiro, Tokoyami or Sato had come up to his room to deliver a message or hang out for a bit, but having Bakugo in his room? Nerve-racking - even more so than any exam or assessment.
"You live like this?" Bakugo asked with a raised eyebrow as soon as he stepped foot in Shinsou's bedroom.
"Yes?" Oh god, what if he decides to leave because it's too messy? I'd die of embarrassment!
"I'm gonna have to fucking tidy it, aren't I?" Bakugo said, surveying the room.
"Huh? Wai-"
Bakugo had already begun to pick up clothes from the floor, and Shinsou decided to give up trying to stop him before he'd even started. He knew how stubborn Bakugo could be, especially about having things neat and orderly. He flopped down onto the bed, lazily tracking Bakugo's figure with his eyes as he made his way around the room, picking up items to sort them into their correct places. Bakugo bent down to pick up a jumper, and his t-shirt rode up to reveal the smooth skin of his back. I could just reach out and touch him... I'm close enough... I could see if his skin feels as smooth as it looks...
Wait...
What?!
What the fuck am I thinking?
Shinsou blinked a couple times and turned his head away from Bakugo, trying to think of someone, anyone, else. Mineta, think of Mineta.....
"Are the only clothes you own fucking black?" Bakugo barked out.
"What's wrong with that? I like them." Shinsou said, still facing away from the other boy.
"Even I wear some fucking colour. You don't even have anything purple?"
"Why purple?"
"It's kinda like...your colour? Like shitty Deku's is fucking snotty green and shit like that."
"Huh. I have a purple hoodie if that counts."
"I don't fucking care."
"You were the one who asked."
"Fuck off. I'm almost done cleaning up your hellhole. Make yourself useful and put on a movie or something."
"Alright, will do. I've got snacks if you want them."
"Anything spicy?"
"Yep." Shinsou had realised Bakugo liked spicy foods when the boy had lathered his meal with hot sauce, and then proceeded to say 'these are fucking weak, where's the fucking flavour, huh, Sato?', while adding lashings of chili powder. So, when Shinsou had spied a new line of extra-spicy 'blow your head off' sweets in a shop window, he just had to buy them.
I didn't buy them for Bakugo, I bought them because I wanted to try something new. Totally.
"Finally someone who has good fucking taste. I'm done. Get going." Sighing, Shinsou rolled back over, and reached out, grabbing the remote from the bedside table, and flicked the television on. He sat back up and got comfortable, leaving room for Bakugo next to him. His sweets were in the top drawer of the bedside table, so he quickly grabbed the bag from it and grabbed a few of his favourites and stuffed them in his mouth. Still chewing, he clicked through the film options, looking for something he thought Bakugo might like. Action? Adventure? Horror? Mystery maybe? I'm not certain, but he seems like the sort of guy to enjoy watching horror movies, and someone who laughs at all the gory bits. Horror it is.
