*Hannah’s POV*
I tugged at the bottom of my cream colored dress. “I can’t believe I’m doing this for you.”
Zayn smiled. “Thank you so much, Hannah.”
I scowled. “I’ve already said yes. You don’t have to keep pretending you like me.”
Zayn shook his head. “Let’s just get through tonight. Then we never have to do this again.”
“You’ll tell them about your friend?”
His eyes narrowed. “Don’t talk about Perrie like that.”
“I didn’t say anything.”
“But you’re thinking it.”
I shrugged. “I think your subconscious is getting at you.”
He rolled his eyes and forcefully grabbed my hand, pulling me into the restaurant. We approached a table for four, set in a manner that made everything look regal. Normally I would have loved this, but considering I had to sit next to Zayn the entire time, I was less than thrilled.
“Zayn!” Tricia, Zayn’s mum, stood up from her seat and engulfed her only son in a hug.
“Dad.” Zayn greeted as he mother pulled away and moved towards me.
His father gave him a curt nod in response.
“It’s lovely to see you again, Hannah.”
I smiled. “You too, Mrs. Malik.”
She returned the smile and pulled me into a hug as well. “Please sit.” She pulled away and motioned towards the chairs across from her and her husband.
Zayn pulled out my chair, making sure to be on his best behavior for his parents.
“Thanks.” I muttered.
“Don’t mention it.” He replied through gritted teeth.
His parent’s paid no attention as the glanced over their menus.
“Can I get you guys something to drink?” A waitress asked as she approached the table. She was a raven haired girl with way to much makeup surrounding her blue eyes, which instantly fell on Zayn and she began to look him over. Classy.
“A nice hard liquor.” I mumbled just loud enough for Zayn to hear.
He snickered in response, something I was not expecting. “I’ll have the same.” He whispered back.
“What was that?” The waitress asked.
I smiled. “Water will be just fine.”
“And the same for you, sir?”
“Yeah that’d be great.”
“Tea for me.” Zayn’s mum replied, never looking up from her menu.
“And a brandy for me.” Zayn’s father added.
“Okay,” She wrote down the orders. “Are you ready to order yet?”
“I’ll have the Beef Wellington. Medium please.”
Trisha nodded her head. “That sounds good I’ll have that.”
“And for you, sir?” The waitress turned towards Zayn, her eyes filled with mischief.
“I’ll have the roast beef with Yorkshire pudding.”
“And for you?” She turned towards me, her gaze becoming threatening.
I smiled and turned towards Zayn. “What do you think, honey?”
