*Hannah’s POV*

My heels click clacked through the hallway, as I approached my locker. My classmates watched me with weary glances, as I passed by them. I expected nothing different after recent events, but I was not about to let their lofty glances ruin my day.

I quickly put my combination in, and opened my locker. I gathered the necessary materials needed for today, and shut the door, to reveal my best friends face. Her wavy brown hair framed her sweet face perfectly, and her brown eyes were spewing with happiness.

     “Hey Hannah Banana!”

I groaned, and rolled my eyes. “He El Bell!” I mocked her chirpy voice, and she frowned.

“You know I hate being called that.”

“Well, I hate being called Hannah Banana.”

“Touché.” She said, with a sly smile. Her face lit up, and she slapped my arm. “Did you hear!”

“Ouch!” I rubbed my arm. “Hear what?”

“Well, two fit new guys are joining school today.”

“Fit you say?” I wiggled my eyebrows at her, and she giggled.

“Yeah, they're stepbrothers, and they just moved her from Doncaster. The younger one used to live in Holmes Chapel.”

     “A Cheshire boy eh?”

Eleanor smiled widely, and nodded her head. “I just love their accents!”

     “Me too!”

She squealed quietly, and scrunched up her face.

     “How old are they?”

Eleanor stopped her excitement momentarily to answer my question. “The older one is in our grade, and the Cheshire one is in the grade below.”

That was Eleanor for you, she always knew the latest gossip.

“They better be as hot as you say.” I motioned for El to walk with me to my next class.

“Well one of them is from Cheshire, so that’s a good sign.”

I nodded my head, and walked into my first period class, English. I had always been good in English, and was excited when I found out I had it first. What a great way to start of the beginning of my day.

Eleanor waved to me one last time, before making her way towards her own first period class.

I took out my book, and started to read it.

Clare goes back to her drawing. She has given up on asking me about our future. Instead she asks, “Henry, what are you afraid of?”

The question surprises me and I have to think about it. “Cold,” I say. “I am afraid of winter. I am afraid of police. I am afraid of traveling to the wrong place and time and getting hit by a car or beat up. I am afraid of losing you.”

Clare smiles. “How could you lose me? I’m not going anywhere.”

“I worry that you will get tired of putting up with my undependableness and you will leave me.”

Clare puts her sketch book aside. I sit up. “I won’t ever leave you,” She says. “Even though you’re always leaving me.”

“But I never want to leave you.”

I gag mentally, and put my book away. I can’t deal with their love at this time in my life. Why did he have to ruin everything? We could still be happy.

Luckily the bell rang shortly after, and I’m able to focus on English, as opposed to he who must not be named, better known as the boy sitting across the room from me, Zayn Malik.

     “Class,”

My head perks up, and I look at our teacher Mr. Cowell.

“we have a new student joining us today. He just moved here from Doncaster, so everyone be nice to Mr.” He looked at the boy beside him. “I’m sorry, what did you say your name was?”

“Louis Tomlinson.” The boy said, his beautiful voice permeating every inch of my being.

“Mr. Tomlinson.” Mr. Cowell smiled, and searched the room. “There seems to be an empty seat by Ms. Walker.”

My breath hitched as the gorgeous new student made his way towards me. His beautiful blue orbs met my own brown ones. His tan skin shined against his white dress shirt, and his smiled lit up the entire room.

     “Hi, I’m Louis.”

“H-Hannah.” I managed to sputter out, causing him to laugh.

“Well it’s nice to meet you, H-Hannah.”

I felt my cheeks burn, and I looked down at my desk. It wasn’t like me to be nervous in front of boys.

“Is this class hard?” The new kid whispered to me.

     “Do you like English?”

     “Better than maths.”

I snickered, and finally made eye contact with Louis. “You may need a tutor then.”

A cheeky glint appeared in his eyes, and he smiled. “Maybe you could tutor me.”

I looked back down at my desk, and my cheeks burnt more furiously. “Maybe.” I replied with a smile. I most definitely could help him study.

Hey guys Ginger here! You can call me Shelby though, in fact I perfer it... hahaha anywhore, Thanks for reading the first chaper of Let's Play a Love Game, and in case you didn't pick up on a few things, I shall take this moment to esplain them.

1) Hannah is Hannah Walker ex-girlfriend of Louis Tomlinson, and Eleanor is Eleanor Calder current girlfriend of Louis Tomlinson. They ARE friends in this story, and are just meeting Louis, well Hannah is atleast.

2) I have no idea if Hannah and Zayn have had a past or not, it was just an idea to include Zayn in the story.

3) This is alternate universe, so the boys aren't famous and I can make Zayn Hannah's ex and Louis and Harry Step brothers if I want! hahaha well as long as my partner says I can...

4) Did anyone notice Simon? Yes, no? haha

So yeah thanks for reading, and the next chapter will be written in El's POV by the lovely @koreangirl119! Wooohooo! I can't wait to see what she does :)
