what happened?

Hello boys and girls here is the next chapter of my DC story which is going to focus on what happened when y/n and his men attacked the star sapphire corp. Now for my question of the day and that is why do you think y/n was after the predator? Personally I know why but at the same time the justice Leagues actions might make the plan y/n originally had go to the shitter. Now with that all said and done let's get on with the story.

Hal Jordan POV (green lantern.)

I flew to Zamaron along with guy, John, and Kyle, where the star sapphire corp sent a distress signal saying that they were under attack. As I got closer to the planet I could already see the damage from the attack they had, it looked like an all out warzone. As I was getting close and closer to landing I noticed that the central power battery was seriously damaged, one of its handles was missing along with the rest of the damage it took. I landed Infront of the battery seeing many of the star sapphire core, leaning against the walls.

Guy:"what happened here?"

We walked around asking what happened but when I look up I saw that there was something in the power battery so I flew up to it. I saw that it was carol being held by chains attached to each of her limbs so that she was in a X shape, her body was covered in scars and bruises, she was even bleeding from her left eye.

Hal:"carol!"

Quickly I used my ring to cut the chains off while also catching her before she fell onto the ground old using my ring.

John POV

I looked at the star sapphire core wondering what could have happened here to cause so much damage, in the distance there were some of the star sapphire who were still able to stand trying to put out the fires all over the place.

John:"what happened here?"

I looked down at one of the members of the corp who seemed to be less injured who looked up at me.

Star sapphire:"they came out of nowhere, led by a man dressed in black, we tried to fight them off but they had weapons that we could not beat along with a member of your corp."

A green lantern!? Did someone from our core go rouge or was it the person that was with the batman who laughed.

Star sapphire:"they... They took it as well."

Kyle:"took what?"

I heard Hal Jordan fly down to us with carol in his arms who looked like she had fighting an army all on her own, Hal placed her on the ground.

Hal:"you don't need to tell us I saw."

He looked at the three of us with a grim look on his face.

Hal:"they stole the entity of love."

All of us were shocked as this since now they have a weapon in there possession that could be very bad for not only the hero's but everyone and everything.

Guy:"so what actually happened."

Before the star sapphire member could explain carol groaned while opening her eyes revealing that one of them are missing.

Carol:"I'll... Tell you."

Flashback

Carol POV

Like before I sent doomsday flying back into one of the walls while I start to focus back on the person who is calling himself the batman who laughed.

Carol:"why do you want the predator!?"

The batman who laughed bust out laughing like he was insulting me.

Batman who laughed:"simple, I want to be a god and I need your entity, so do you want to fight me?"
