'S'

"What the hell!" I screamed as the windows exploded.

"Villains!" Kugisaki pointed, and sure enough, there they were: Vulture, Lizard, and... Doctor Octopus!! Shit, what are they doing here?

"We have come looking for Spider-Man. Rumor has it that he goes to this school. Show yourself, Spider-Man!" Dr. Octopus raged. Well, at least you can always count on egotistical maniacs to explain their motives. I looked towards Gojo, who stared at the villains with narrowed eyes. I felt a splash on my hand. I looked down, and I saw it was the 'S' chemical, which had tipped over and was spilling. Crap, didn't Gojo warn me not to get any on me? I watched as the spoon-full of the chemical on my skin seemingly disappeared into my palm, leaving no trace that it was there. What? I blinked, thinking my eyes had played a trick on me, but the chemical was still gone. I shook my head; I'll focus on that later. Right now, I need to figure out how to get me and my friends out of here.

"If you don't show yourself, we'll be forced to get violent!" the Dr. Said from where he was elevated above us using his mechanical tentacle arms. In the blink of an eye, he shot out one of the arms towards me. The claws at the end grabbed me, squeezing painfully into my torso. I was lifted into the air, and out of the corner of my eyes, I saw Gojo, Fushiguro, and Kugisaki standing with expressions of horror and anger on their faces. I braced my hands on the claws, pushing my weight against them in the vain hope that it would let go. The arms squeezed tighter, making me gasp for air. I was brought close to Dr. Octopus' face, who looked me over with a bored expression.

"Come out Spider-Man! Unless you want to see this young man dropped!" he threatened. So far, his comrades hadn't said a word, just flanking him on both sides and staring out at the crowd. I looked down at my friends desperately, and I saw that Gojo had disappeared from the group. I internally let out a breath. I was saved.

The claw around my torso suddenly let go, and I was free falling through the air. I let out a yell as the floor came closer.

"AHHHHHH!"

I felt an arm wrap around my waist, and I looked to my right and found Spider-Man there.

"Are you okay, Itadori?" he asked, his voice laced with concern.

"I'm okay. Thanks Spider-Man." I smiled at him. He landed on the ground next to Fushiguro, who took me in his arms, not caring that Kugisaki was there. Gojo took off again, going to fight the villains.

"Are you okay Itadori?" Fushiguro murmured.

"I'll be fine." I managed to get out with a wince. Fushiguro noticed immediately.

"No, you're not. We need to leave while Spider-Man takes care of things here." he stated, putting my arm around his shoulders and supporting me while Kugisaki took my other arm. Together, we made our way out of the building and across the street, where most of the school was already gathered. We stood off to the side of everybody else, and Fushiguro dropped my arm, only to start lifting up my shirt.

"Woah! Wh-what are you doing?" I yelped as his cold fingers trailed lightly over my skin, making my face heat. Fushiguro gave me a blank stare.

"Checking for injuries. It looks like your ribs are bruised pretty bad; we should probably get some help." Fushiguro pulled my shirt down and started looking around.

"Don't worry Fushiguro," Kugisaki spoke, "I've already called an ambulance. They should be here soon." kudos to Kugisaki being proactive.

"What about Go-I mean, Spider-Man?" I asked worriedly, looking at the wrecked building that was our school.

"He's strong, he'll be fine, Itadori." Kugisaki said, her voice hard with conviction.

In the end, I was driven to the hospital, where the X-rayed my ribs. Turns out, the claws had fractured my ribs, and they would need a few weeks to heal completely. Gojo appeared after a few hours, looking guilty and... scared. After Fushiguro and Kugisaki left the room to give us privacy, he apologized to me multiple times, sitting in the chair beside the hospital bed and grasping my hand, saying it was his fault that I was even in the hospital in the first place.
