" Holly shit." Was all Petra could say out of her pure shock.

"Yeah."

She looked at the paper and then back at you. " You mean to tell me that you came here to find the Gabriel because he knew at least one of your parents?"

You took the paper from her and put it in the jackets pocket. " I just need to get this letter to him. So he can tell me what is going on. "

Petra looked away from you and continued to look forward as the two of you walked. " That is just.....wow."

You looked forward as well. " I know, I mean one moment I'm living with my parents happily and the next I find out I'm adopted, my life is a lie, and that I have to go find Gabriel the fricken warrior." You said slightly ranting.

Petra nodded she looked back over to you and seamed to be deep in thought for a moment. " Hey has anyone ever told you that you look a lot like....." Petra trailed off before shaking her head and looking forward again. " Nevermind."

You thought for a moment about what she was possibly going to say but you decided to not ask.

After a few minutes you noticed something. Up ahead there was a sign that simply said welcome! It looked like it at some point maybe had the name written there to but it seamed to had been scratched and worn away.

Petra smiled at the sign. " Well Y/N welcome, I hope you like small towns."

You looked to her and once the two of you made eye contact you both started to laugh about the small inside joke you had. " Why I do happen to love small towns." You said jokingly.

Petra shook her head as she tried to stop laughing. " Hey by the way I need to grab something from a friends house so are you okay with having a small stop?"

You nodded. " Of course, I'm chill with that." You said as you looked around. There were a bunch of different houses, shops, and parks all filled with happy people enjoying themselves.  A few people looked you and Petra's way. You asked her why they where looking at you two wide eyed.

" Well simple. Your new." You gave her a confused look before she continued. " This is a small town Y/N almost no one comes here other then visiting."

You let out a oh as you two continued to walk. After a while you two made it to a building. It was made of old brick and it had multiple toys scattered around the yard. You quickly noticed a sign.

Maria Jackson's Orphanage

It said in big bold lettering.

" Wait here." She said to you as she walked up a path to get to the front door.

You nodded even though by this point she was half way across the yard. You decided while she was gone you could look at all the different builds.

There were children running around in the streets being careful not to run in the way of horses. A few mothers and fathers sat on a bench watching the kids while others were looking at the prices of things at stores. A few teenagers laughed as they walked out of a cafe. Two other teenage boys walked behind them. Hand in hand. One of the boys noticed you and gave you a wave he flashed you a smile.

You smiled back and waved to him as well. The rest of the group called for them to hurry up so the two quickly caught up with the rest of the group. You turned around to take another look at the orphanage when suddenly-

SMACK

You fell to the ground your hands definitely being scratched. You opened your eyes and noticed how there were boxes of...wool?

"Ow- Oh notch I'm so sorry!"

You looked over across from you to see a boy. He had wavy brown hair with a orange streak. With a white shirt, dark jeans, and tennis shoes. But oddly enough red suspenders- wait.... why did he look so familiar?
