Chapter 10: The Competition

A/N

Okay so um I came out to my mom and no joke she said. " I know?" Like she knew the whole time- anyway here take some of this slow burn crap😌 Also just know I will be changing a little of the dialogue so that things can flow better and also because some of these scenes writing is really bad-

" What do you mean were 5 minutes late!?" You asked as you practically ran after Petra. She was booking it down the road with you hot on her tail.

Petra turned her head slightly over to you. " I mean that if you don't pick up the speed were going to be late!" She yelled back with a smile on her face.

You tried to speed up more to keep up with Petra's fast pace. But you couldn't help that the girl was taller and more athletic then you.

As the two of you ran you were careful to not run into anyone. You noticed a lot of people look at you and Petra but I mean you couldn't blame them I mean it's not everyday you see two girls booking it across town.

It took maybe 10 minutes to get to the competition. You couldn't help but look around in wonder. There were different places to build all had fenced around them. There were people doing different things. But in each fenced area had a group. About 2-5 people in each group.

You were about to continue walking but Petra set a hand on your shoulder. You stooped and she quickly started to fix her hair and clothing so she didn't look so messy. You quickly did the same. Petra then started to walk in casually. As if you hadn't just run two miles. You walked behind her while looking around-and trying to get your breath to slow down.

A few people waved to Petra, and when noticing you they gave you smiles.

As you walked you noticed two familiar people.

A blonde with a leather jacket.

And a boy with red suspenders.

When you and Petra came over both looked over and smiled at you two.

You quickly noticed a few more people.

There were three in Lukas' group.

One guy with olive skin and sideburns. His shirt was a clear copy of Magnus's. His hair was clearly gelled back and a dark brown.

Another boy looked to be older then everyone by maybe by about 5-8 years. He had curly black hair and a beard. His shirt was white with blue stripes.

The one girl in this group had pale skin with red-brown hair. Between the yellow hair dye and dark makeup she was giving you heavy e-girl vibes. But she was rocking the look.

On Jesse's side there were two other people and of course Ruben.

There was one girl on this side too. She had lovely dark skin and curly black hair. Her outfit was red and white. She had a red dress shirt on with leggings.

The last guy was probably twice your size. He had on a green shirt and some brown pants. But rather then looking menacing he looked honestly sweet. Like a Teddy Bear.

Lukas and Jesse stood in front of each other. Jesse had his arms crossed and was practically giving Lukas a death stare. While Lukas stood there scratching the back of his head.

As you followed after Petra a few people noticed you and waved. They had big smiles, almost like they knew you? You had to admit it was slightly creepy but hey maybe they thought you looked nice? Oh well. Or did you look bad- You were quickly snapped out of your thoughts by Petra who wrapped a arm around your shoulders and pulled you with her.
