Chapter 2

❝Tea Part 2❞

You were getting ready to tutor the friends that your brother had from school. It turns out that a lot of them needed help to be able to go to Tokyo for a tournament that they had coming up. Since you had relatively good grades, and your brother had desperately wanted your help, you agreed.

Though, you did not expect him to tell his friends that his sister would be able to tutor them. It was not something that he had asked you, but you were okay with that in the end. In the end, meaning that your brother convinced you to agree.

What you did not expect was for Tsukishima Kei to be one of the people that you would be tutoring. The group of people that you were tutoring included Tsukishima Kei, Hinata Shoyo, Kageyama Tobio, and Yamaguchi Tadashi.

The only way that you had known about Kei was through your brother, Kageyama Tobio. He had often complained about the middle blocker, saying that he was apparently incredibly rude and had a negative personality.

"It's fine, maybe he won't give me a second thought and I can be done with this as soon as possible," you had spoken to yourself in reassurance.

TOBIO:

Hey imoto-chan, we're on our way home. Are you at home yet?

(Y/N):

Yeah, I'm at home and stop calling me imoto-san, we're the same age!

TOBIO:

You are still younger than me, remember that.

(Y/N):

By 5 minutes! Seriously, sometimes you are so annoying.

Anyway, is Tsukishima still coming with you guys to study?

TOBIO:

Yeah, he is, but don't take any he says to heart. He is just mean and it's something that he uses to rile us up.

(Y/N):

Okay, come home soon!

You had stood up and begun to clean up the house while waiting for your brother and his friends to show up. Somehow the house and become a huge mess in the span of two days. That was the last time that you had clean the house. This happens at the house all the time. Somehow, one way or another, the house gets dirty in the span of two days.

It baffles you how that could happen.

Once you had finished cleaning up, you had gone to your room the grab the books that were needed to be able to help your brother and his friends in preparation for their upcoming tests.

The doorbell rings and you had rushed to the front door, with the stack of books that will be used as material for studying. You had opened the door with the books in your hands, obscuring the view of those who were are the gate.

What Kei saw was not something that he had expected when he would walk into the Kageyama household. He saw a person holding a stack of books that were looking as though they were going to topple over at any second.

"Imoto-san, we're here," Tobio spoke as he had entered the house.

Your shoulders had sagged when you had realized that it was only your brother that was there.

"Welcome home Onii-chan," you replied.

Tobio was ignoring the stack of books that were in your hands, and for some reason, Kei had moved ahead to help the girl.

When you had moved the books to a table with the help of someone, you saw that it must have been one of the people who you had agreed to tutor.

"Hello, I'm y/n Kageyama," you spoke when you had made eye contact.

"So, you must be the princess then," Kei added on with a smirk on his face.

You had furrowed your eyebrows. You knew the nickname that your brother had gotten while he plays volleyball, but this form of connection to his name was a new thing for you.

"I guess I am the princess," you replied bashfully and Kei's smirk had fallen.

"I'm Tsukishima," Kei had stated.

"I'm gonna call you Tsukki then," you replied with a smile on your face.

He had not allowed anyone that he had not known well to be able to give him a nickname. There was one person who had called him that given nickname and that was Yamaguchi. They were considered to be childhood friends, and that was why he had called Kei 'Tsukki'.

"Tch," Kei said as he had looked away after what you had said.

He wanted to be able to say no to you calling him that, or tell you to call him by his last name, but he found himself unable to do that.

"Oh my gosh, do you guys want anything?" You spoke to everyone.

You had felt that it was rude to not ask anyone else in the house if they had wanted anything. Your brother and his friends were talking amongst each other, and Kei had remained quiet.

"I'm making tea," you spoke when no one had replied.

"I'll have the same," Kei spoke up from behind you.

It had made you jump when he had spoken up since you had forgotten that he was still standing behind you. When you had looked at him, you smiled and nodded. Then, you glanced at your brother and he replied,

"I don't think we are gonna have anything," Tobio spoke for the others in the room.

Soon enough, you had finished making something for you and Kei. You had brought the drinks to him. This particular tea was your favorite, and you had hoped that Kei did not hate it.

"Is it good?" You had asked hesitantly.

"It's amazing," Kei replied.

He had not taken a sip yet, and that had made you blush. Kei did not know if he would like this drink, but if you had made it, it must have been good. Kei did not want to believe it, but he thinks that he might be interested in the king's sister.
