Hey guys! Please read this if you're new or a returning reader from the original BRR. There's going to be warnings, what to expect, and the new (though very similar) description for the edited version.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this version, and please don't be afraid to ask questions! I get so many notifications a day, around 10k, so if it's important please DM me them.
I hope you all have an amazing day!!

Everyone warns you about boys who go looking for troubles, who have bruised knuckles and split lips, whose eyes are so dark that it seems like they could swallow oceans and come out alive, about the boys who look like danger, but no one warns about boys who stay silent for way too long, or ones with rings under their eyes, boys with sad eyes and boys who whisper things so sweet, so quietly that you wonder if he was an angel.
Everyone warns you about the bad boys, but no one seems to warn you about the broken ones.
This is a warning about all the broken boys out there, a warning about love.
Broken boys are not beautiful because shattered glass isn't artwork, it's dangerous. When you pick up the remains of their tattered soul you cut your hand trying to stop it from falling apart all over again, and the pain doesn't last long but they remembered what the blood looked like dripping down your arm for days.
You have to be careful, broken boys are bombs that are constantly about to go off, broken boys never know what it's going to take before they finally explode.
If you aren't careful, they could end you, but if you play your cards right and find a broken boy whose heart isn't crushed so much that they cannot love, the one boy so full of passion for anything but life, you will have found someone that will be there for you for eternity.
When you become friends with them, you can't break down the walls they have around their heart. Don't do it. You can't demand to know their pain by causing more. You don't earn trust by breaking it, you earn it by being patient.
When they talk to you about the things they love for the first time, stay silent. They're scared to be judged, and they are scared to mess up.
Be gentle when replying.
They aren't used to such care, so you have to be patient when you show them how much they deserve good things.
And when that broken boy finds someone who he can love more than anything—this is another warning—he will do whatever it takes to protect them from the world.
Anything, even if it means destroying himself all over again to protect them.
Be scared of broken boys who have been to hell and would do so again for their loved one.
Bar Red was a broken boy, undoubtedly.Clementine Astoria grew up alongside him, watching him go from a small kid with busted up knees and a small smile to a teenager with too-heavy shoulders and a broken heart.
And she wants to help him, even if they didn't have the best history.
She has no clue what she's getting into but she's about to find out. She was kind, passionate about the simplest things, and had a stubbornness that could rival a mule. Mix that with Bar's possessiveness and overprotective nature, some interesting situations will definitely arise.
Bar flirts, Clementine can't help but to be amused by it.
He 'fights', she glares while bandaging him up.
She reads instead of eats and he refuses dinner until she joins him.They... work together. They fit.
Both, easily, fall into love.
Broken boys are the only ones that can fix themselves so will this broken boy manage to do so before he drives away the one girl who wiggled her way past every barrier? This isn't just a love story. This isn't just how two people found themselves falling into something that changes their lives—this is a story about heartbreak and the consequences of it.

So, guys, I will be publishing both this version and the original version of BRR (of course, with spelling errors and other mistakes smoothed out) which will be available in the US and UK (Canada, too) and other places that I have to confirm as well.
I just have to finish completing the rewritten version and making sure that everything is going to go okay with the publication, since I'm self-publishing it, anyway.
So yeah, that's all I have to say about that, but I'll keep you guys updated on my personal feed.

This book contains depictions of mature themes that could trigger you, such as:
- violence
- mentions of kidnapping
- mentions of suicide
- mentions and descriptions of self-harm
- bullying and harassment
- swearing, slurs, and vulgar language
- sex, innuendoes, and crude flirting
- abuse (mental, physical, and emotional)
- abandonment
- police brutalityClementine, due to both physical and mental trauma, will have a stutter throughout the entire book. Bar deals a lot with mental health issues and self-confidence, he has panic attacks and intrusive thoughts and is abused my his father, who is a police officer.
This book deals with heavy topics and has very mature characters and discussions— it is a book that should be taken seriously. It is much more than just a romance between two lost teens. In contrast to that, this book is mostly fluff and personal growth and how a lot of people discover themselves despite the tragedies they go through.
If any of these trigger you, please be cautious and safe while reading.
With much love,
Sara!
