Emma Rhodes,26, is the new deputy of Absaroka County. She works for Walt Longmire, the sheriff. She was driving when she sees lights flashing behind her.
"Oh great!" Emma said to herself.
Emma pulls over, and she parks her car. The man with a navy blue uniform and dark long hair got out and came over. She rolls her window down as he comes over.
"May I help you?" Emma said, kindly.
"I just pulled you over for speeding." The officer said.
"You're Mathias aren't you?" Emma asked.
"I am." Mathias said. "I am the Tribal Chief of Cheyenne Tribe Reservation. Or the Rez. How do you know?"
"Walt Longmire warned me about you." Emma said.
"You're the new Deputy." Mathias said.
"Yeah." Emma said.
"What about Philly?" Mathias said. "Is she still working there?"
"Oh Vic? Yeah she is." Emma said.
"I won't give you a ticket." Mathias said. "Only because you're so kind. Not a lot of white people like my kind."
"Well I don't care what you look like." Emma said. "You're a human being."
"Yeah. Well maybe we'll see each other around." Mathias said.
"This won't be the last time we'll see each other." Emma said.
"Have a good day!" Mathias said.
"You too, Mathias." Emma smiled.
Emma drove back to the office and met up with Victoria "Vic" Moretti and they were eating a wrap.
"I thought I was gonna get a ticket." Emma said.
"Who was gonna hand you out one?" Vic said.
"The Tribal Chief Mathias himself." Emma said.
"He must like you." Vic smiled, teasingly.
"I don't know if it's that or he's just being nice. Cuz you all did warn me that Mathias isn't nice. But he was really nice." Emma said.
Emma went home and went and showered before heading for bed!
