It was like any other day, I was walking down my street to see my friend, Amorfia. The thing is as soon as I saw her I almost died. Not literally, but felt as though I did. As I got closer my heat beat began to race, I felt nervous. I didn't completely understand why this happening, I mean we had been friends for so long. Over the last few days though, I had desired to see her more. I wanted to be with her.
"Hey," she said as she ran over to me, "Long time no see."
My heart was racing, "What are you talking about? We hung out yesterday."
She raised an eye and put her hands on her hips, "Really!?"
"Yes, really." I said weakly.
"Okie Dokie, " she said with a shrug. I started laughing, she was acting like a toddler.
She gave me a death glare, my laughter slowly came to a hault. Her smile returned.
"I'm kinda scared," I said.
"Oh, you should be," she said with a smirk, "Mwah haha...tee hee!"
"Oh my, are you okay!?" I said in the midst of my laughter.
She nodded, "Back to business, whatcha wanna do?"
"I dunno," I said.
"Fine, my choice!" A smirk spread across her face.
"Oh gawd," I said regretting my poor response.
She grabbed my hand, "Up up and away." She went a little ways, then cane to an immediate stop.
"Are you okay," she said scanning me over, "Cuz you're acting funny."
Okay, this is when my brain finally realized what my heart was trying to say. "I love you?" I whispered.
"Did you say something Chipmunk?" she questioned.
"Oh um its nothing," I said, "Why don't we go inside?"
"Okay," she smiled brightly, "Let's go!" She grabbed my hand and slipped off into the house dragging me behind.
