Ayami woke up the next morning early like usual. She dressed to go on her morning run with Guy and Lee. The duo were strange but good people. They never judged her and were always up for a good training session. Guy and Lee were waiting for her at the gate and all three of them took off running. Ayami upped her weight seals from 150lbs per limb to 200. She heard that the chunin exams were coming up and had a feeling Kakashi was planning to enter their team. Ayami ran until it was time for breakfast at the Uchiha house. Ayami quickly went in and showered before going down to eat breakfast. They were due to meet up with Kakashi at 9. Ayami and Sasuke said goodbye before hopping from roof to roof until they reached Training Ground 7. When Sasuke and Ayami got to the Training Ground, they noticed an unbelievable sight. Kakashi was not only on time but beat them there. Sasuke and Ayami skidded to a halt and both made attempts to dispell the illusion. Kakashi rubbed the back of his head sheepishly as Haiden rolled on the ground laughing as he had done the same thing not ever ten minutes ago. Kakashi scowled at the three good naturedly.
"Now I know I don't often show up on time but I'm not that bad." Kakashi said with a slight pout
Sasuke, Ayami, and Haiden scoffed at the same time making Kakashi blush under his mask sheepishly.
"Anyway as you three know the Chunin exams are coming up in the next few weeks. I plan to enter our team as a way to test your growth since graduation. Now we will be training as well as doing missions. We will be doing 100 D-ranks a week. This will build stamina and creativity as a way to use your training in day to day life. If you wish to attempt a few C-ranks that stay within the Fire Nation than we shall. We start today let's go to the mission's desk." Kakashi said before they darted across the roof tops
The days were brutal. Ayami worked her shadow clones to the bone as she did her usual training regime on her own plus Kakashi sensei's. Kakashi noticed but he decided to let her continue while he also kept an eye out for exhaustion. Ayami had shown a great amount of growth compared to the rest of her team. She was always strong and independent but she also distant with the team. Ayami was now close enough to call them family. Kakashi was proud of his precious little genin. They would go far. Kakashi had been furious at the last meeting he had with the Fourth Hokage.
Flashback Begins
It was just after Kakashi had dismissed his team that Minato wanted to talk with the three sensei and the Third Hokage.
"I have worries about Ayami. She is not close to the main village at all. She has no respect for me as the Hokage. I'm worried that she may become a threat to Konoha." Minato said
"She did act a bit like a monster during our mission." Kushina agreed
Kakashi and Anko were in shock before anger flooded them. The Third Hokage tilted his face so it was shadowed.
"Ayami is not a threat. She is a brilliant young shinobi who is also pretty quiet." Kakashi stated trying to remain calm
"You didn't see her with the townspeople in Wave. They loved her. Your son on the other hand was a menace from beginning to the end of that C turned A rank." Anko said
"Menma defeated that Ice brat." Kushina said with a glare
"No Haku wasn't defeated. Menma threw Sasuke Uchiha in between himself and enemy fire. The Daimyo could have him dishonorably discharged from the Shinobi Corp. The mark would also be put on file for any children Menma may have so that others are aware of his dishonorable deeds." Kakashi defended Sasuke
Minato glared at Kakashi.
"This talk isn't about Menma. He already being punished. This is about Ayami." Minato said through gritted teeth
"Enough. You forget Ayami is your child as well yet you are prepared to kill her for imagined threats." The Third Hokage, Sarutobi, said
"I am not trying to kill my daughter. I'm saying she needs more ties to the village. She also needs to spend more time with her family instead of suspicious characters." Minato told Sarutobi
"What more ties does the girl need?! She is dating the Uchiha heir. The Uchiha are our security force for here in the village. She is called daughter by a civilian leader of a large Enterprise here in the village. She is friends with most of the graduates and heads of the Shinobi families. She trains with Guy and Kakashi as well as being known as a genius when it comes to chakra. Ayami is a beautiful, intelligent, and independent shinobi. This is about her wanting nothing to do with the two of you or her siblings. You are attempting to abuse your power, Minato. I'm disappointed in you." Sarutobi

"She is our daughter, Sarutobi. Ayami needs to be willing to forgive us and fight with us to help Menma and Naruko." Kushina said trying to convince him
"What does Menma and Naruko have to do with Ayami right now? This is probably why she wants nothing to do with you. You've spent every waking moment with Menma and Naruko that you don't see that no one is willing to sacrifice Ayami for them. Menma and Naruko are spoiled bullies who have yet to grow up and face the real world. You both know that. Ayami is her own individual and you are attempting to use her as a tool to further the two brats that don't deserve it." Anko said
Minato and Kushina were forced to admit defeat this time. They wanted Ayami to be part of their family and were willing to try and force her to forgive them. They didn't see anything wrong with the fact they needed to forced their daughter to be with them.
"I will let this conversation go for now. The Chunin exams are coming up in a few weeks. Do you both plan to put your teams up for it?" Minato asked
"Of course we do. They could use the experience. We just need to do some group training." Kushina said with a wide grin as she saw a way to force Ayami to work with Menma and Naruko
"My team will also be nominated, but they're group training is already pretty tight. They are doing collaboration jutsu and techniques." Kakashi said freezing Kushina's plans
"Hold on I'm co-sensei for your team. Why was I never part of their training sessions?" Kushina demanded
"You decided to work with Menma and Naruko. You were free to come and work with our team at any time." Kakashi said emphasizing on were
Kushina looked at him hard.
"How far have you been training your genin Kakashi? You haven't been slacking off have you?" Kushina said with a fake smile
"Of course not. My precious genin are the most important part of my day. How is Menma and Naruko training? Are they still on tree walking?" Kakashi asked back making Anko bite back a laugh
Kushina turned beet red as both of them still had trouble with their chakra exercises.

Kushina=0
Minato quickly dismissed them so he could talk to his wife about their children's training as well as stop their embarrassment.
