Chapter 8

Your POV:
"So you aren't the type to act on orders." I comment.

What do they gain from killing Sensei?

"Who's your partner?" Sensei asked, playing with the curses head.

"So curses can have conversations, huh." I heard Itadori say as I drowned out Sensei.

"Sort of. Not all curses can. Only some. The curse at the reform school couldn't. But this one can. I guess there's a dependable factor in all this." I reply.

"Oh, when Sensei said you could do more than one domain, how many can you do?" Itadori asked with sparkles in his eyes.

"Two. So far. I have a fire domain called "Fiery Cage" and an ice one called "Ice Prison" which was the one you just saw. I used the ice domain since the curse was a fire user and I don't know what happens when I use a fire domain with a thing that can use fire." I comment.

"So that day at the reform school..." Itadori trailed off.

"I used my fire domain since it's quick and easy to finish what I want to do. The ice one is just too slow." I finish.

"Y'know, it feels so weird talking to you. Fushi-I mean Megumi told me you died." I comment.

"Oh so you're on first name basis now?" Itadori teased.

"All of you have been on first name basis since we met. Means nothing." I retort.

"Only because you didn't tell us your surname!" Itadori retorted back.

"Because I don't like my family name! As far as I'm concerned, I have no family!" I retort before covering my mouth with my hand.

"You don't..." Itadori said before I cut him off.

"Drop it." I say with a dark aura around me.

"Okay!" Itadori panicked.

I sensed something so turned my head to see something growing out of the ground as Sensei stepped out of the way. The thing that grew caused me to jump back, avoiding the flowers that sprouted from the floor. Yet the flowers placed Sensei and Itadori in some kind of trance. I narrowly avoided it so watched the scene play out. When the two snapped out of it, a curse reached down and grabbed the curses head. Itadori got strung up by a branch and shouted at me and Sensei to go after it. But we lost the chance.

I ran a bit into the forest and caught a glimpse of who was here. The curse... and a person who seemed so familiar to me. I thought for a moment and suddenly placed where I saw him before. Back when I was little. When the curse attacked me and that boy... he was with Sensei the day I got saved. I think I caught his name but for some reason I can't remember it. I thought I left my past behind me. I never expected it to catch up to me. And so soon. I left the forest and just decided to head back to school. I didn't even think about Sensei or Itadori.

Once I got back, I headed straight for the koi pond. But I saw Megumi sat there.

"M-Megumi?" I ask, making sure I wasn't seeing things.

"Y/N? I thought you had a mission in Okinawa and wouldn't be back for a while." Megumi posed.

"Yeah, well Sensei lied. He was dragging me with him for a meeting with the principal about something but we got attacked by a curse. The stupid thing is my past has now caught up to me again." I say, sitting down next to him and hugging my knees to my chest.

"What do you mean?" He asked me.

"Exactly what it sounds like. You don't know how I ended up at this school, do you?" I ask.
