After my talk with God, the angel that I woke up to named Alice, escorted me to the training room where I would learn how to use my powers and how to fight off any threats to our chosen one. I didn't know her name yet or where she is from and honestly not much information at all on my "chosen one". They call the humans picked to be protected by an angel that and I wasn't the only angel in the training room. As much as many people die every second of every human-earth day, not all of them are graced by being guardian angels. I walked into the all-white clean room with various forms of exercise equipment like punching bags and weights. Over on the wall were golden spears with silver blades on the end.

"My fellow angels meet our newest recruit, Jesse Baker." She smiled and waved her arm in front of me as if she has shown the spotlight on me.

"Uh hello." I smiled awkwardly and waved my white long-sleeved shirt moving with my motion.

The three angels in front of me looked at me curiously as if eyeing me down. I looked over at Alice who cleared her throat awkwardly.

"Jesse these are your new brothers and sisters." She said then continued to name the angels off.

Kendall was introduced first, She was a tall girl with green eyes similar to Evie's, but more pale green and not as vibrant. She was wearing the dress version of the outfits we all woke up in and she had dark brown hair that reached down to her broad shoulders. She had glowing tan skin and rolled her eyes as I looked over at her. Next was Alex, a shorter boy with a mop of blonde hair on his head and very blue eyes that looked lit with excitement. He smiled at me and waved at me happily dimples creasing his pale face. Last but not least was Jax a dark-skinned man with dark almost black eyes, he stood stern as I looked over at him towering over everyone and pretty buff compared to the other angels that stood beside him. As I looked over at him, he just looked over at me emotionless. He's probably going through a lot right now I think we all are honest.

"Alright my angels, I will be training you for your chosen ones and you need to be strong because you will never know what threats on Earth whether spiritual or human that may come your way," Alice explained as she walked back and forth with her hands behind her back.

I stood in the line with the other angels and stood straight and tall as I was next to Kendall, defiantly taller than me. She tried to hold back a laugh as she looked over at me straining to stand upright next to her so everyone looked over at me and stared at me like I was an idiot.

"Jesse, can you please get stop acting like you're a lot taller than you are and let us begin our training?" Alice asked sarcastically rolling her eyes as she stood like a mother who was over her son's nonsense.

"Yes ma'am"

After a short introduction to training and telling us our purpose basically being a huge inspirational speech about being a knight of God. We all went up to Alice and all got a pair of gold dog tags with our name written on them and the date of death in silver writing. I'm assuming we get these in case we die during our holy duties.

"These are the only thing that will identify you if found by our fellow angels who will check on you and your chosen one often or if needed, the last person you'd want to see check on you is me or our God," Alice said sternly after we all got the tags and begun to put them on.

"Wow pretty stylish huh?" Kendall looked over at me showing me her tags showing the day she died being in 2020.

"Yeah, they defiantly are." I laughed and looked down at mine and held them looking at them and the way my name was engraved.
