Aether x Xiao oneshots {𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐔𝐄𝐃}

  Bad days:
When Xiao is having a bad day he becomes much more aggressive. Hostility is his best friend. If you make him any angrier than he already is, run bestie, cause he wants ALL the smoke. The only thing known to calm him down is Aether. Xiao will instantly lay his head in Aether's lap and get comfortable, while Aether just pets his hair and runs his fingers through it. The adeptus would talk about all of his troubles throughout the day, while the traveler simply listens. You can expect them to stay like this until one of the two fall asleep and take a nap. Unless Xiao complies with Aether's request to go somewhere secluded and walk around.

When Aether has a bad day, it's written all over his face. While Xiao is more prone to anger, Aether is more prone to stress. Whatever happened that day to tick him off made him overthink. He would then get stressed about the littlest things. The traveler is most likely to do extra commissions that day, or March around looking for hilichurl camps. Something to vent his frustration on that isn't a person. Xiao being the attentive individual he is, would noticed Aether's spiked hostility and make his way towards the other in an attempt to see what's bugging him.

  The "honorary knight" would try to say nothing is the matter, as to not cause his significant other stress. But the boy with glowing eyes wouldn't step down. Eventually Aether would end up spilling everything about what made him upset. Next thing they knew, they would be in bed cuddling, with Aether into Xiao's chest, hugging eachother tightly. Aether would normally be the first to fall asleep while Xiao would either join him, or go deal with whatever caused his boyfriend such issues. *Wink wink*

Cuddles:
   Xiao is a huge fan of cuddles. Although he may not show it he really appreciates them (only from Aether lol). He likes keeping his partner close and protecting them from everything. He's the big spoon, no exceptions. He looks forward to cuddles since it's a display of affection, although he may not initiate them often. And this adeptus will never admit how much he loves cuddling with Aether.

Aether is also a big cuddle fan. He's affectionate almost every chance he gets since he doesn't know when he'll be on the road again. It doesn't matter the situation cuddles are the answer. Although sometimes he wishes he could be the big spoon, he doesn't mind being the little spoon either. Cuddles with Aether could go on for hours, and his loving (yet overly stern) partner would often be the one who had to end their little sessions due to his duties as an adeptus.

Love language:
Xiao doesn't know what love languages are, but he's trying to learn. He picks up on little things around him that Aether likes and for the most part ends up liking them aswell. Xiao is more prone to kiss on the shoulder or forehead, when feeling bold he'll go for the lips. HAND👏HOLDING👏IS👏A👏MUST👏 Xiao likes to hold hands. Wether that may be intertwined fingers, or just linked pinkies, he likes hand holding.

Aether is EXTREMELY physical. Hugs, kisses, hand holding ect. He loves it all. He loves big hugs and short sweet kisses on the lips. He's mostly the initiator for affectionate moments between the two. He prefers hugs from the front so that he can hug his partner back. Whenever Xiao hugs him from behind (practically by reflex at this point,) he turns around and plants soft kisses on the other's face.

Sad:
Whenever Xiao is sad about something he'll try his best to deny it. Wether it may be the death of one of his fellow adeptus, or just something trivial that got him down, he'd deny his feelings. Aether would let Xiao be and be discreet with comforting him. Extra cuddles, playing in his hair, making extra almond tofu, ect. Xiao would be too dense to notice Ather picked up on his mood and accept everything his partner offered. Next thing he knew he would feel better.

Whenever Aether is sad it's written all over his face. And half of the time it's cause he's thinking about Lumine, Xiao would simply try and guess what made him sad and reassure him. (When he guesses wrong Aether sometimes laughs at Xiao's flustered face after realizing he guesses wrong) Xiao would take Aether into the town and let him explore and try new things to cheer him up.
