You walked inside the clock building, looking up at the architecture. Italy, you grew up here. But for the first time, you were called to such a mysterious place. 20:34, you looked at your watch. It was quite late but saving your patient's life was more important. You got a call from a man who asked you to come at the given location for a worker girl at their place who fell unconscious.
Your fingers fiddled with the keys of your car, trying to understand which way you should go. You weren't fool enough to go to a strange place alone without any supervision but then again, you were an adult who is a doctor still timid.
A tall man arrived from the elevator. He stood tall compared to you, frosted hair sandy brown. A smirk tugged on his lips. "Doctor (L/N)?" He quired. An eyebrow raised, confirming if it's you.
You nodded, "(Y/N) (L/N)."
"Thank you for coming on a short note," He said. Gratefulness in his voice with a thick accent. You wondered if he was a non Italian but he spoke the language so impressively. "I am Demetri," He introduced himself, offering you his hand which you shook. He started to lead the way to the elevator.
"What has happened to her?" You inquired while following him. He closed the elevator doors and looked at you.
"She is the secretary at our place but she fainted all of a sudden," He shrugged. "She is always on her salad diet which makes me think her body lacks protein."
You hummed, thinking about all the possibilities. "Let's hope, it's nothing serious."
The elevator reached the floor as you both stepped out. You held the case tight in your hands, feeling your palms to sweat. It was still winter, you felt this aura from this place which made you feel like that. The paintings hung on the walls and decorations made you wonder if it was a museum. But it wasn't. It looked like a place where everyone lives in but like a dark castle.
"Demetri, you have arrived," The man with a silky voice spoke as he turned around. Smooth raven hair till his shoulders. "With the doctor for Davina."
You tried your best to suppress the smile. Your best friend would laugh her ass after learning you got attracted to a patient. "Where is the patient?" You asked. Deep inside hoping, you don't go in simping mode.
"Right at that door." Demetri pointed.
You walked to the room and saw Davina lying on the bed. She was tall and could be a model. Her caramel skin was clear and her dark hair was even more beautiful. You closed the door to do the tests. Checking her pulse and body temperature, you took the test of her and saw she was pregnant and was overworking herself that's why out of tiredness, she fainted.
You went to the washroom and washed your hands. Coming out of the room, you saw there were three men now. One, the tallest with brunette hair, the blonde one with a nasty look, the raven haired one with a silky voice aka your crush.
"I am Dr. (Y/N) (L/N)," You forwarded your hand to the raven haired man who shook your hand with his gloved ones. "Davina's doctor."
"Aro Volturi." He introduced. An intrigued look in his dark gem eyes.
"Now kindly blurt out what you found out from that stupid hum-," The blonde grumbled, rudely earning disappointed looks from both Aro and the brunette guy. "Davina." He corrected himself.
You rolled your eyes, now understanding why poor Davina fainted, must be because of that rude bossy blonde. "Well she is pregnant so congratulations."
The blonde one and Aro exchanged glances as the brunette one stared at you blankly as if figuring out something.
The blonde turned at you, "Now, you doctor, you can go. When we might need you, we will call you." He sounded like he was trying to shoo you away.
"Fine but please buy her these medicines," You gave Aro the prescription which you wrote inside the room. "And don't let her exert herself."
"Miss, I suggest you not to leave in the dark," The brunette finally spoke, okay but he sounded like Severus Snape. "It's dark and we will be needing your assistance."
You tried to reason, "It's fine, I have my car-"
"Exactly, brother," the blonde one interrupted. "Why are you stopping her?"
The brunette ignored the blonde man as Aro watched the brunette carefully. "It's a request." He said, looking into your eyes.
"Fine," You sighed, giving in. "But he has to behave." You pointed at the blonde man who was about to come back with a snarky comment but Aro stepped in.
"As you say, Dr. (Y/N)."
