Asuna and Yuuki in A Very Tickly Jungle

Taking A Rest

It was a sunny day in the virtual world of ALO.

Or at least, that's what Asuna and Yuuki thought. They couldn't really tell through the canopy of leaves overhead. There was a rumor going around ALO that there was a secret dungeon hidden somewhere within this jungle. However, no one had yet to find it, as there was no map to lead anyone there.

Knowing this, Asuna "The Berserk Healer" and her best friend Yuuki "The Absolute Sword" decided to venture into the jungle in an attempt to find this mysterious dungeon. So far they had been unsuccessful.

Yuuki: Asunaaa, are we there yet?

Yuuki wined like a little kid as she followed her blue haired friend.

Asuna: hehe, no Yuuki. This dungeon is suppose to be hard to find, remember?

Yuuki: I know that, but we've been wandering around in here for over an hour now! My feet are starting to hurt! Why can't we just fly?

Asuna: Yuuki, please stop acting like a kid. This jungle is too thick for us to fly through. We have to cut through it just to be able to walk. And we both know if we were flying we might go over it and miss it.

Yuuki: Yeah, I guess so.. Can we at least take a break?

Asuna: Well.. I am getting kinda tired. Sure. If we find a clearing, we can take a rest, alright?

Yuuki: Okay!

Yuuki gave Asuna a big smile, which was contagious as Asuna smiled right back.

They continued to walk for a few minutes, and eventually they found a small clearing.

Yuuki: Yay! Finally!

Yuuki ran ahead into the clearing excitedly, only to immediately plop down into the grass.

Yuuki: Ahhh.. It's so good to lie down after all that walking.

Asuna: hehe, I'm glad it is.

Asuna stood over her laying down friend and smiles. Asuna liked seeing Yuuki so happy in moments like these. She then sat down and leaned against a tree at the edge of the clearing.

Asuna: We'll rest here for fifteen minutes, sound good?

Yuuki: Mhmm! Sounds like a plan!

Yuuki raised her arm into the air with a thumbs up, approving this break time.

Asuna then closed her eyes and began to rest. Truth be told she was just as tired as Yuuki was, and was glad she suggested a break.

Oddly enough, Asuna was the one of the two to doze off.

She slept against the tree for a few minutes, until she was woken up by an unexpected sound.

Yuuki: teeheehee! hehehehe!

It was Yuuki.. giggling?

Asuna slowly opened her eyes and looked up. Yuuki was still laying down in the grass, but it looked like a vine from one of the trees had.. come to life..? It had made its way down to Yuuki, and the tip of it was wiggling against the part of Yuuki's side that was exposed because of her outfit.

Yuuki was giggling lightly and wiggling around a little as the strange vine apparently tickled her, but she didn't get up or get away from it.

Yuuki: Hehehehehe! what are you, hehehe, doing mr vihihine? Hehehehe!

Asuna: Yuuki..?

Asuna stood up as Yuuki looked up at the sound of her friend's voice.

Yuuki: Oh! You're, hehehehehe! You're wahahake!

Asuna: Yeah... why is there a vine tickling you..?

Yuuki: hehehe, tickling? Is that, hehehehe, what this ihihis?

Asuna: Yes... have you never been tickled before?

Yuuki shook her head no.

Asuna: lucky..

She mumbled to herself, as she herself hated being tickled.

Suddenly, the vine stopped it's tickles on Yuuki's side and quickly wrapped itself around her right wrist.

Yuuki: Um.. what're you doing now, mr vine?

She tried to pull out of its grip, but it was surprisingly strong.

Asuna: I don't like the look of this..

She drew her rapier and quickly went over to Yuuki, then sliced through the vine. It dropped to the ground once she did, apparently defeated easily.

Yuuki: aww.. bye mr vine.

Asuna: Now isn't the time to be playing around Yuuki.

Asuna sounded serious as she looked around them.

Yuuki: What do you mean..?

Yuuki slowly got to her feet, the realized what her friend meant.

More vines were coming to life all around them, slowly making their way towards the two girls. And not just a few. There were dozens of them..

Yuuki drew her sword, not really sure what to think about this situation.

Asuna: Looks like mr vine had some friends, huh?

Asuna grinned as Yuuki giggled and nodded in agreement.

Yuuki: Yep, he sure did. Let's take care of em'!

If only they knew that this would be no ordinary fight with a monster. It also would be a fight that they would inevitably lose.
