It was finally the weekend. A break from school. Andrew and I decided to hang out this weekend to get to know each other better. And this is the perfect time to lie low for a bit, seeing how things went down the other night.
But now I know those people are looking for me and onto me. I have to lie low for a bit and avoid them at all costs. But, I am also worried about Andrew. He witnessed it but wasn't at the theater.
"So you're a witch and your specialty is music? How does that work with magic?" He asks me while were taking a walk around the forest together.
"How my magic works is related to the songs. Whenever I sing, it hurts the hearts, ears, and minds of those who hear it. I decide what they should feel whenever I sing." I answer.
"So what are they feeling when you sing? What did you make them feel?"
"...My pain..." I stopped walking and frowned, looking at the ground.
"Your pain?" He blinks, repeating my words.
"Yes... Let's just say I go through a tough time at school..."
"So how does it work?"
"What?" I look at him.
"Your magic works based off the songs you sing. Is there a limit?"
"There is." I nodded. "My throat becomes a bit sore. But that's just me singing. In general, if I were to use too much of magic, I become tired."
"Is that why you fainted last night? You used too much of your magic?"
"Yes. But seeing how it was at a full moon last night, my magic was at its peak. It becomes strong. But with my performance last night at the school, I put all my magic into it to make it as powerful as it can be. However I think it overdid it with the illusion spell. I used too much of my magic, so it caused me to faint."
"That explains why you collapsed. How long does the illusion last?"
"I haven't figured that out yet. I don't keep track of the time limit. Although my specialty is music, and that my magic comes from it, I should be learning more about my abilites. But singing is all I know."
"That's understandable. One more thing. What about those butterflies last night? What did those mean?"
"They symbolize my magic. It's like a symbol. I'm surprised you're interested to know this stuff. I didn't think anybody would want to learn the arts of magic before."
"I can be a curious guy when I want to be. Plus, you're an interesting girl."
"Thank you." I lightly smile. Although I still have my concerns... Why didn't my singing work on those two older man the other night? My spell should have worked on everyone that was in the theater.
It's so strange...
"Melody,"
"Tsume." I smile up at him as he comes flying down. "There you are. Thanks for the help the other night."
"You're welcome. Who is this?" He looks at Andrew.
"This is Andrew. Andrew, this is Tsume." I introduce them to each other.
"Uh... Hi." Andrew awkwardly said while waving. "Let me guess. You also speak to animals?"
"I do." I nodded. "One of the perks of being a Witch."
"He knows about you? You told him?" Tsume whispered to me.
"Yes, I did."
"Can you trust him to not to tell anybody?"
"He was practically dragged into this. Telling him is the least I can. He said he wouldn't tell anybody."
"You know I'm right here." Andrew waves. "I guess your hawk friend doesn't trust me with hiding the fact you're a witch?"
"He's protective that way."
"That's understandable. Anyway, I gotta get going. I'll see you at school sometime, okay?"
"Sure." I nod and Andrew left.
"Are you sure you can trust him? He now knows about you." Tsume stated.
"I don't trust him fully. But telling him the truth is the least I can do. He witnessed what happened that night. Also he did save me..." I replied to him.
"What happened after your performance? Are the students and teachers going to remember anything?"
"Not this time." I shook my head. "I made sure that nobody remembers a thing from that night. I only wanted to do the same thing I did with the other schools. It's no different, but I wanted to test out the power of my song this time."
"But you now have those people looking for you now that they know what you can do. What will you do now?"
"I just have to keep my distance." I sigh and head home. I just hope I won't see them again at school.
~Claude's POV~
I watched Melody from a distance after the boy had left her alone. I watched her walk back home as I stood behind a tree.
Very interesting indeed. Very stunning. She is a Witch whose specialty is music. She has the ability to have make others feel whatever she wants them to feel depending on what song she sings.
Yet she is so beautiful. I don't think I can control myself. I can almost feel her soul whenever she sings. So passionate. A burning passion. And her scent is arousing~
I want her.
