I gazed around me.All I could see was the fluffy white clouds.If I had been back in Britain,these clouds would have been gray.I had moved over to America when SHIELD offered my the job as an agent.They paid for the ticket and got me an apartment.It's great over here,Don't get me wrong, but I miss my family and friends.

The helicopter touched down.I was jolted from my daydream as the guy from earlier undid my seat belt.I smiled at him and gracefully jumped out of the helicopter.Abby ran to me and practically launched herself at me and grabbed pulled me into a hug."I hate helicopters!" she growled.I chuckled and pulled away from the hug.

"Huh.I rather enjoyed my ride!"She rolled her eyes,Grabbed my arm and stomped over to were a group of guys stood waiting to take us to wherever we were needed.

"Um..Hi?" we both said,although it sounded like a question. One of them,The leader I guessed, Told us to follow them.

As we speed-walked down one of the many long,sterile corridors,I asked Abby,"Where on earth are they taking us?

"I dunno," she shrugged,"Meeting room?"

"Probably." I agreed with a nod.Turned out we were right.As we rounded another corner,We heard the immistakable voice of Nick Fury.The guys we were walking with gestured for us to walk in."Well,Here goes! " I muttered under my breath.Abby gave me a nervous smile as we walked through the doors.

"H-hi!" Abby stuttered.Everyone's heads spun round to face us.

"Ah! Agent Permafrost and Agent Heatwave! I see you arrived!" Fury said,In his usual unenthusiastic voice.

"Uh huh!" said Abby

"Yup!" I said,My head cooked to the side.We both sat in the seats Fury gestured towards.

"Right,You two,These are the avengers." My head shot up when he said that.I had kept my head down all the time Fury had been talking,Abby was just playing flappy bird under the table,So we hadn't noticed who it was we were actually here to meet.

"Whoa! Um hi! This is cool!" Abby said.She was obviously insanely exited.I looked up and smiled.Most of them smiled back.One of them,Iron man,I think,Looked at my eyes and started a little.

"Wow! Never seen eyes like that before!"he said.Almost immediately,Everyone in the room focused on my face.By this time,I was Blushing furiously.

"Umm...Was that a compliment?"

"Oh,yeah,Yeah it was.That's really cool!"They all nodded.It didn't seem possible,But I was even more red than before.Nick decided to speak up at this point.

"Avengers,These girls are here for a reason.Permafrost,Do you want to go first?" I nodded sheepishly.

"I-I guess?" with that,I stood up.Abby gave me a reassuring smile as I walked to the other side of the room.I took a deep breath,Braced myself and closed my eyes.When I opened them,I knew they were glowing because of the looks on their faces.Smiling slightly, I made it snow.Then,Unable to resist,I swirled around in a circle,Causing my body to be ingulfed in soft,White snowflakes.Just to spice it up a little, I dissolved into the snow and re appeared at the other side of the room.I earned some,'whoas' and 'Wows!'

It was Abby's turn now.Everyone looked at me in awe,Then turned to Abby expectantly.She gulped,Stood up and walked over to the pile of snow I had left behind.The moment she stood on it,It melted.I flinched and muttered,"Ouch!" she looked at me apologetically and mouthed,'sorry!'
