I watched as Abby nervously stepped forward. Her eyes closed in concentration,as she held out the palm of her hand.her brow furrowed,and a small flame leapt up.I felt a slight sadness,Because I knew she was trying so hard.I had to stop myself when Fury sneered,"Alright,Agent Heatwave,Next time we want to have a nice candlelight dinner,Well be sure to let you know." Then Stark sniggered.It took all my strength to not punch his nose and then freeze his face off.

Nobody and I mean NOBODY insults Abby and gets away with it. Abby suddenly opened her eyes and my heart eccellerated. Her eyes were blood red and her veins were boiling hot.I could feel the heat radiating off of her body.It was making me feel nauseous.I tried to stand up,To help,but Fury pushed me down.My friend's hands burst into flames and she advanced onto Fury. Steve and Clint were in front of him in a flash.I pushed my chair back and it fell to the floor with a clatter.As I ran over to Abby,The floor where I stepped turned to ice.This was one of the signs that I meant business.I stood inbetween my friend and my interviewer,And placed my hands on her shoulders,although my skin was burning,I didn't care.I had to help the person that was always there for me.I made her look me in the eyes and her anger seemed to slowly ebb away.I pulled her into a gentle hug.She couldn't look me in the eyes,she obviously felt ashamed.I knew,Obviously Bruce knew,She couldn't control it.I cupped her face,making her look me in the eye.She sobbed and buried her head in my neck.I knew that everyone was staring,But honestly,I didn't care.I looked around and glared at Stark.He smirked at me,But his smirk faltered when he saw the shards of razor sharp ice I had floating in my hands.He silently apologised,But I only didn't put holes through him for Abby's sake.

When we pulled away,Abby formally said,"I'm sorry, It's out of my control."I placed my arms around her shoulders to comfort her.Slowly,we walked back,I picked up my chair and sat down.What Fury said next peaked my interest....

"So,after that unfortunate turn of events, are we willing to carry on with our plan?" he said blandly.

"I thought it was kinda hot. " the black widow said.I smiled and I guessed Ab did too.
