[Chapter seven]
"Not seeing people permits us to imagine them with every perfection."

"You are so stubborn, I swear to god!", Felix rolled his eyes, trying to get a hold of his boyfriend's arm. "I can't deal with you sometimes."
Jisung groaned in frustration.
"What did I even do?"
"You were all friendly with Mark, again, Felix."
The younger stared at him, wide eyed.
"But... I thought we were okay with other people?"
"We are!", Jisung stomped his foot. "But not him, you know I don't like him!"
Felix face palmed and sighed aggressively, trying to explain to him about the project they were doing.
"Are they always like this?", Seungmin spoke, his hood on as usual as he tried his best to stay out of the public eye. Since he was siting with two of the loudest guys in the cafeteria, that was proving to be a bid hard.
"Always. I used to have to deal with them alone, now you suffer with me.", Jeongin answered, smirking.
"Laughing at my misery?", Seungmin joked.
Jeongin tensed right next to him, and the other realized what he had just done. He was honestly surprised with himself. That was the first time in years he actually had made a joke, spontaneously.
Jeongin smiled cutely at him.
"Want to go to the library after this? I need to grab a book to read during the weekend but I can't chose, I was hoping you'd help me, since you've probably read all the books in that library.", he giggled.
"Y-you read?"
Jeongin furrowed his eyebrows.
"Yea, why?"
"I-I don't know. I guess it never came to my mind that popular people read.", he chuckled. "Forget it, I was just being stupid.
The younger shrugeed.
"I get it, really. I wouldn't think about that too."

Once at the library, Seungmin almost ran to the same section as usual, as the younger had a slightly heated fight with the lady that kept saying he didn't have a library virtual card when he had used it so many times before to get books.
He let his hand wander through the spines again, loving the feeling.
It was warm, like home.
Or what Seungmin thought home should feel like.
He pouted as he realized the book he used to read was still there.
No one had read his message.
He picked it up, feeling stupid for even trying, and opened it to take the paper out, but ended up with his mouth wide open, staring at a paper that had nothing to do with the one he had put there.
Dear stranger,
You're right, I am being forced to read this book, I don't usually read, in fact, anything at all. My sister does, but I never got used to it, I guess. Why read when you can watch movies? I was going to watch the movie for this one as well, but maybe I'll make the effort, just because you asked.
I get the getting away from life part, though, I do it by playing video games, it's not the same but it still takes me to other worlds.Seungmin almost jumped on the spot, drinking the words the mysterious person had left for him to find.
I have a pretty great life, I'm popular, I have all the girls I could have and I'm pretty sure I'll have some of the best grades in school. This makes me feel bad about wanting to escape reality, because there are so many people who have it worse than me.
Seungmin's face changed very quick from a frown, as he realized he was talking to someone who actually had no idea who he was and didn't care about his existence anyway, to a surprised face at the last confession.
He tugged the paper between his fingers.
This got dark really quick, I'm sorry. I hope things get better for you, stranger!
Without wasting time, he sat down on the floor, taking his notebook out, and began writing, praying that Jeongin didn't come in the middle of it, so he wouldn't be mocked for this ridiculous attempt at making friends that weren't those three crackheads.
Your life sounds great, but I get what you say.
We all have our problems, I'm sure there's a lot of people worst than me, anyway. My life is not that great, though. I didn't use to have any friends, but now I think I do, not a lot but enough. I'm a huge introvert, I love reading and I sing in my free time, at home...when I can.
I've always been a loner, I guess I'll never stop being.
I don't know what else to write.
Minnie.
He quickly folded the paper in half and put it on the book, leaving it on the same place it had been before.
"Seungmin?", the older was just in time to keep the new note in his pocket, smiling at the younger while his palm burned where the stranger's words laid.
"Got the book?"
The younger nodded and they both left the library, in a comfortable silence.
"Min?" The older hummed as they found the perfect spot on the garden, under a small tree, and settled on to read. "There's this party, today. At night, you know, friday-"
"Stop right there, I don't do parties."
Jeongin pouted.
"Think about it, Hyung!"
"Don't ever call me that again. " Seungmin cringed. "It's weird."
"Right, sorry, but think with me. It's our last year, you need to know the feeling once at least, and we can protect you now and make sure you're having fun!", the smaller leaned backwards on grass opening his books. "I supposed the couple will probably agressivly fuck in the bathroom but anyway."
Seungmin furrowed his eyebrows.
"Weren't they mad?"
The younger shrugged, turning the page.
"They don't really get mad, it's usually solved in less than two hours."
Seungmin didn't answer, he didn't have to. They stood there, Jeongin reading his book in the sympathetic shadow of the tree as Seungmin let the sun heat up his burned face as he drifted off to sleep.
