chapter 2

sorry that it is a late update i have been a bit busy :)

JADE’S P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of locked out of heaven by Bruno Mars blasting into my ear. It made me jump, it scared me enough to make me fall out of my bed flat onto my face!!

“owwwww!” I moaned as I got up and placed my cover bag onto my bed. I walked over to my wardrobe and grabbed my outfit for school. I walked to the bathroom and got into the shower, I did my usual morning routine then got dressed. I ran down the stairs and walked into the kitchen. I put some bread in the toaster and flicked the switch on the kettle.

“ You’re up early” my brother, Jaye yawned.

“ well Jaye, I am 18! I had the choice of leaving school or staying and I decided to stay and I do have to get up at 7! You on the other hand are 21 and you are still living at home with no job and a really bad love life!” I lectured him. He came around the kitchen table and playfully hit my arm.

“ oh you want a fight. Bring it on!” I shouted. I kicked him in the leg and ran out of the kitchen into the front room.

“Jade, you are in for it now!” Jaye shouted as I hid behind the sofa. Jaye came running in and spotted me straight away.

“hmmmmm, I wonder where jade is. Oh look the sofa has been pushed out, I will push it back in.” Jaye said sarcastically. Suddenly the sofa came back and squished me. Ouch, it was on top of my pinkie finger!

“ shit Jaye it is on top of my finger!!” I screamed, I pushed the sofa off my finger and sucked it. My nail had gone black and blue! Tears started building up in my eyes. I stood up and wiped a tear away.

“let me look…… holy crap! Im so sorry Jade!” Jaye sighed

“s---ee alwa---y son o—of us get—ts hurt when we play f—ight!” I stuttered. He pulled me to the kitchen and wrapped a ban aid around it. I thanked him and accepted his apology. I grabbed my toast out of the toaster and made myself and Jade a cup of hot chocolate. We walked in the front room and turned on the tv. What about tonight were on sunrise, me and Jaye grunted and quickly changed the channel before they started singing.

I got up and went and brushed my teeth, I grabbed my bag from of my bed when suddenly there was a knock at the door.

“perfect timing!” I though to myself as I opened the door, it was Indi.

“bye jaye” I shouted as I closed the door now time for school.

TOM’S P.O.V

“ shit” I shouted as I jumped out of bed, it was 7:3-, half hour till school started! I ran to my draws and pulled out some clothes.

“not time for shower” I said to myself as I put my shirt on.

I stumbled out my door and amost fell down the stairs. I flew into the kitchen and grabbed an apple and a glass of milk. I rushed around grabbing my school stuff and packing my swimming kit while crunching on my apple.

As soon as I had finished, I ran to the bathroom and grabbed my toothbrush. I brushed my teeth and then looked at my hair. I shook my head and nodded. That was good enough, I skidded across the hallway and picked up my bag.

“ bye mum, bye dad” I shouted up the stairs as I ran out the doo. I legged it down the pavement and around the corner. I stopped to catch my breath and looked at my phone 7:55 CRAP! I ran to Jaden’s and knocked on the door.

“come on dude! We need to go!” jaden shouted as he pulled me down the pathway. We ran down the pavement. We arrived at the school gates just as the bell was going.

“phew!” I sighed as me and jaden walked through the school gates.

JADE’S P.O.V

First lesson, biology YAWN!

“morning everyone” Mr Harnet!” our class chorused

“today we are going to do about plants.” He smiled. The whole class groaned. As the lesson started someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around to see Madi Green holding a note, she pointed to Indi and shrugged, I opened it.

“ what do you think Tom is doing right now!?” the note read. I rolled my eyes and wrote my reply.

“He is probably in lessons, listening and learning unlike us!” I turned around and passed it back to Madi, I made sure she passed it back without looking at it and turned back to Mr Harnet. Seconds later Madi tapped on my shoulder again and I took the note.

“well….. this is boring! All he is going on is about plants! YAWN!” I smiled and was about to write my reply when the note was snatched from me. I looked up to see a very angry Mr Harnet.

“passing notes in class Miss Green. Not the first time this has happened is it!” he said

“no Mr Harnet.” I sighed

“ and I guess Miss Rain is involved in this as well!” he started to shout. I turned around and looked at her. She nodded

“yes Mr Harnet” I mumbled

“ you two, detention NOW!” he shouted. Me and Indi stood up and grabbed our stuff. We collected our slips and walked down the hallway to the headmasters office.

“here we go again.” Indi sighed as I knocked on the door.

TOM’S P.O.V

Second lesson, P.E. well at least it was better that first lesson, Spanish egggghhhhh. I changed into my P.E uniform and walked out of the changing rooms with jaden.

“ hey Tom, looking good as usual” Lucy smiled. I grunted and looked away. Shit if she thinks I like her then she can think again!

Me and jaden walked over to coach and smiled

“so boys, what are you doing today? Football or rugby?” he asked us

“football!” we both said. He nodded and ponted over to the boys crowded around the goal.we walked over and looked around. Just a bunch of popular idiots who loves themselves to much. I rolled my eyes as they started to laugh and shout. Then coach came over.

“right boys, two teams. Daley you can be one team captain and Rodgers you the other.” He yelled. Me and Danny walked over to him. My pick first.

“Jaden” I smiled

“Jay” Danny hollered

“Jake”

“Luke”

“Owen”

“Morgan” soon enough we had everyone in a team

“Right, Daly you team can be blur, Rodgers yours red” coach explained. We got our bibs and took our sides

“3,2,1 GO!” coach blew the wistle. I took the bal and ran with it. I hit it passes Rodgers, hallet and ross. I kicked it to jaden and he scored. Whooooo 1-0 to us. This time danny’s team started.

Soon enough it was half time. It was 3-1 to my team. Wow we were kicking butt! I took a sip of my drink and went back to the pitch.

As soon as the wistle blew I was off

Soon it was the end of the game my team had won, Danny came up to me and shook my hand.

“good game bro, you played well” he said

“thanks you played well too” I replied

I then got my bag and walked to the changing rooms to get changed for third period.
