"I'll continue to give my best, everyone."

You walked back to the restaurant, Ging walking closely beside you. You felt a lot better after crying it all out, and surprisingly, the atmosphere between the two of you didn't feel awkward like you would've expected. But at the same time, you were unwilling to look him in the eyes.
After all that had happened between him and Pyon, or at least from what you had seen, the thought still made you uneasy. You felt a pang of jealousy, but sighed and diverted your attention somewhere else. It wasn't right to feel that way.
As the restaurant came into view, you could make out the beautiful, bright but warm lights coming from the interior. But before going in, you stopped right at the entrance and looked down for a moment.
'Maybe I should just call it a night..'
You thought, drawing your hand away from the door and bringing it to your side. Until a hand grasped it, and you turned to see Ging. The gesture was a tad bit unexpected, and you stared at him, wonder, curiosity, and slight shock in your eyes.
His eyes were soft and steady as they peered into yours. "Ready?" He asked his gentle grip, nor gaze faltering.
You nodded and smiled, before he held open the door for you, letting you step in.
Immediately, you were greeted by Kanzai, whose face was stuffed with that looked like Chicken Alfredo and French Fries. He had his usual scowl, but at the same time, he looked pretty satisfied with the combination of food in his mouth (which you found amusing).
"Y/N," your name came out garbled, "wi wuh whate-ing fohr yaugh. Mihzahischohom and thah others ah waithing foh yaugh. C'm-hone."
You softly chuckled at the sight, and at the sound of his muffled speech. Despite him probably being a few years older than you, you gave the boy a soft pat on the head. His scowl seemed to soften and he stopped chomping on his food, quietly following after you as you walked back to the main table.
"Oi, Y/N!" Cluck called out. She patted a seat between her, and to her right, Geru, motioning for you to come over. You walked up and sat down, letting out a breath you hadn't realized you'd been holding for a while now.
To Geru's left, sat Kanzai, Botobai, and Saiyuu. Botobai was probably (definitely, actually) the most mature of the entire group, and you smiled at how he was sitting between the tiger and monkey zodiac, preventing the two boys from arguing or fighting.
Beside Saiyuu, next, was Cheadle. She gave you a warm smile as your gaze met hers. Beside her, was an empty seat. You figured it was Pyon's, as when you looked around, she was nowhere to be seen.
Then, came Pariston. As you looked at him, you met his gaze for a split moment. And that moment, you felt your heart crumble, just the slightest bit. His eyes were distant, unfamiliar walls covering up anything at all that made him who he was. He didn't even smile. His expression felt... foreign. Mysterious, and almost unsettling.
The edges of his lips twitched with a smile- a brief respite from his grave look, and he gave you a small nod. That gaze from before quickly dissipated into something more amiable the longer he stared at you.
Beside him, was Saccho. And then Ginta, Ging, Mizaistom, Geru, and back to Cluck, and you. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood, even Botobai, who usually had an intimidating and serious expression.
