Mai POV:

I flew through Dumbledore's window, landing on a nearby perch and waiting for him to take notice of me. But my impatience quickly grows and I coo at him until he pays attention. He smiles warmly and looks up at me.

"Welcome back Mai, We have some last minute letters for you to deliver after Crabbe's and Goyle's. We need you to deliver letters to the Zabini's and the Weasleys." He said.

I glared at him in disbelief before nodding with frustration. I ruffled my wings against my body and cleaned my feathers.

"We'll give you an owl pamper day when you return from the Weasleys" He said, a smirk tugging on his lips when my head snapped at him. Did this old fuck say a full day to pamper me? Hell yeah it's worth it. I cooed happily and flew onto his desk, nuzzling into his hand.

He chuckled and gently ran his wrinkled fingers down my head and back before handing me a small piece of raw meat. "I think it would be best you head to the Parkinson's now, I believe the Malfoy's have informed the other families that the official mascot of Hogwarts will be delivering the letters. So they'll be expecting you."

I nodded and plucked the letter into my beak and gliding to the window. Looking back at him before flying out, flapping my wings and soaring through the sky, quickly diving down and through the courtyard. Students greeting and waving warmly to me as per usual. The Slytherins seem to be more respectful towards me then the other houses though. Not surprised. I am seen as Snape's pet.

I coo hello at the students before flying off to the Parkinson's home.

My ice-blue doe eyes notice a mansion sitting on a hill. This mansion is no-where near as big as the Malfoys, but it what it lacks in size it makes it up in detail.

My wings beat against the air and I still them and aim downwards to the home and through the window. I land on the back of a sofa and hoot loudly. Two older people walk in and smile warmly at the site of me.

"Oh wow. Now I know why Narcissa was raving about how gorgeous this owl is. Truly is gorgeous, never seen anything like it." The male said with a smile, approaching and gently petting my head.

The mother walks over and takes the letter from my beak. "PANSY!! Hogwarts letter for you!!" I looked at her and ruffled my wings once again. A young girl walked through the archway, she's wearing a black dress and some pretty necklace. Her hair is black and a bob style. Only a shame she looks like an ugly pug. Merlin she's ugly.

I cooed a greeting at her and smiled as her mother handed the letter to her.

"Miss P. Parkinson. fourth room to the right." She smiled as she flipped the letter over and opened it. "Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore, Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sore, Chf. Warlock, Supreme Mugwump, International Confed of Wizards." Pansy's smile just grew more and more with each sentence.

"Dear Miss Parkinson,

We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

Term begins 1st September. We await your owl by no later then 31st July.

Yours Sincerely, Minerva McGonagall Deputy Mistress"

The small girl let out this blood curdling screech. I'm surprised that such an inhumanly sound can come from such a child that, despite her hideous looks, Is very much human.

"I've been accepted to Hogwarts!" She screeched, her voice going shrill. So damn close to gouging the hideous' creatures eyes out.

I chattered my beak as a parting goodbye before flying out the window once more and soaring through the clouds. Damn I enjoy being a bird. I hope Professor Snape can find a way to communicate with me. I don't mind if it's just him honestly.
