Prologue:
For millions of centuries, the Angels and Demons, God's first and strongest creations have been at war.
They were complete opposites ofcourse, the Angels made of pure light, while the Demons came from the darkest of shadows. Their beliefs and thoughts were completely different and one thing led to another.
A quarrel. A fight. A murder.
Then war.
They fought, and fought so terribly that separating them seemed the wisest choice before the war destroyed both of them.
The Heavens were divided in two, and the Angels, us, got one side,
while the demons got the other.
We were forbidden to trespass.
We were forbidden to interfere in each other's affairs.
Even if we met each other elsewhere, for example Earth, we were told not to even talk.
And so it had always been, for millenniums.
Until now.
And it was my fault.
All mine.
Chapter 1: Fallen Angel
A mistake.
It was a terrible mistake, they said.
" You know better than to interfere with the demons, child! No matter how much you want to go and help you MUSN'T GO ANYWHERE NEAR THEM I THOUGHT YOU KNEW THAT!!"
I was furious. How could he say that?
" They were going to kill him!" I shouted back, my breaths already coming rough in my anger.
"THAT, child, is NONE of YOUR concern!! Do you even realize what you have done?!
You crossed over to the realm of the demons, the sentence for trespassing on each other's land is DEATH!
You broke into an official assassination, ordered by Satan himself of one of his own demons, AND YOU FIGHT AND HELP A DEMON RUN AWAY?!
Do you even realize the mayhem you have caused?!!"
Cayle's shoulders were heaving up and down heavily, just like mine, showing how angry he was. I had never seen him this mad.
Being the leader of the Angels requires a lot of patience, and Cayle had plenty of that.
So even if I didn't believe what I had done was wrong, seeing him this angry gave me an idea of how bad my actions were...according to him and all the laws we have around here.
So what, I had flown over Helia, the part of heaven holding the boundary between the Angels and Demons and fought 5 demons who were going to kill another demon.
It was cruel! Wrong! And totally unfair!
I couldn't just stand there and see the creature die right in front of my eyes.
The 5 demons were so shocked of the fact that an Angel had butted in and was fighting them off that they didn't even know what to do.
And I had caused enough of a distraction to let the attacked demon run away.
I sighed.
"Cayle, listen, I'm sorry for all this mess, but I couldn't just let him die in front of me!"
