I flapped my wings and soared higher.

The air around me was crisp and cold, but I didn't care.

The clouds were below me, looking like pink and orange cotton candy because of the sunset reflecting on them...

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

And then I woke up.

Chapter 3: His Eyes

<Rose's POV>

I groaned as my hand shot out to shut the damn alarm clock.

Ugh! I can't even dream of flying?!

I pulled down the covers from my face just enough so that only my eyes were poking out. I looked at the time.

"WAAAAAAH!"

Yup.

That was the lame scream that left my mouth when I realized I only had 10 minutes left to get ready and be downstairs. Celia was going to drive me to my school.

High school...

I shook my head before I could think any further and get lost in my thoughts.

I sprung out of bed and rushed into the bathroom for the quickest shower in the history of showers.

I was out in 3 minutes flat, my hair smelling amazing like my shampoo. What was the smell again?

I need to check next when I actually have time to see what I'm pouring on my head.

I rushed to my walk-in closet ( yay!) and randomly picked something from the closest rack.

It was a pretty white dress with a pink floral pattern all over it.

Hmmm. Cute.

I looked around to find something to wear on top of it and my eyes landed on a black denim jacket.

I threw the towel wrapped around my body on the floor and quickly put my clothes on.

The dress fit me perfectly, reaching just a little above my knees and swayed when I moved around.

I loved the jacket though.

After blow-drying my long honey brown hair to fall in soft curls down my back and getting into black ankle-length boots, I was ready.

I picked up my black school bag (also something that was here before I came) and ran downstairs to see Celia already waiting.

"Gooooood morning Rose dear!" she sang.

"Come on now, we need to leave right away! And oh my, you look so prettyyyyy!!!"

I blushed as Celia kept on gushing about how all the boys at school will go crazy when they see me.

"Being an angel sure has its perks!" She squealed as she led me to her shiny black Mercedes.

Wow.

I thought looking at the car.

Celia's got some taste.

"I mean, just LOOK at you! Your shiny brown hair, it's such a light color it almost looks blond!

Your pink cheeks, Rose really suits you for a name!

And your eyes...that color is rare even for angels! Oh those violet eyes..."

I sighed as Celia kept on praising my looks.

I kinda shut her out and my thoughts drifted off elsewhere.
