Lindsey pulled over her car to a carport and glanced at the car clock before pulling the key from the ignition. It was already 10:53 pm, and she believed Bandit already went to sleep.

'Hey Kitty, I'm out front.' she texted her friend.

Not long after, someone opened the door, "I thought you were gonna stay there," Kitty assumed. Her other hand was holding a glass of red wine.

"I don't think I could. Is B asleep?" she entered the house and walked straight to a bedroom.

"Right away after you left."

Lindsey peeked to a bedroom where Bandit was sleeping. She kissed her goodnight and whispered, "I love you, B." then joined Kitty in the living room.

She sat down next to Kitty on the couch, "Gimmie some," she asked for a glass of wine.

Kitty went to the kitchen and grabbed a wine glass. "What's going on?" asked Kitty curiously and poured some wine into Lindsey's glass.

Lindsey gestured, "one moment," as she sipped on her wine. "Aah..." she exhaled. "That was good!"

Kitty was waiting for an answer, but instead, Lindsey asked for some more wine.

"Easy there, Lind!" Kitty chuckled.

"I need this," she held her wine glass up. "I just can't stand him right now. When I came back, the house was messy, he was still a hot mess, and I thought he would change?" she smirked. "Nooo... he seemed don't care about us."

"Just give him some time,"

"I always give him chances, but he always wastes them away."

Kitty rubbed on Lindsey's back, "It will be better. It takes time..." assured Kitty.

Lindsey wiped her glistened eyes, "It's been too long! After their final show at the Bamboozle, he was pretty much shut down."

"Yea, I remember that. He was a bit different," Kitty agreed.

Lindsey sipped her wine and continued, "Exactly, but it was long before that. He lost interest in music for a while, and the last straw was the final one. Did you see that he acted on the stage? He never acts, and I know he didn't want to be there. It was so sad to see him like that." she blurted out.

Kitty changed the topic. "But, hey, I believe he will be happy to see you and B tomorrow! I hope by not seeing you guys in a while, it will knock the sense into him!"

Lindsey's phone was ringing. "I'll be right back," and she went to the other room.

"Hi, yeah... I'm fine," Kitty did not try to be nosy, but she could hear Lindsey's conversation.

"Nah, I'm still up. Don't worry about that. How are you?" she sounded happy.

Kitty thought that was Gerard, but didn't they just met earlier? And the tone from Lindsey's voice was different. She giggled and laughed, something that Kitty hadn't seen since the last couple of days.

Minutes later, Lindsey came back with a big grin from ear to ear.

"Who was that? Was that Gee?" she guessed though she knew it wasn't him.

"A friend," Lindsey replied while texting someone on her phone.

"A friend-friend?" Kitty made quotations sign in the air.

"Yes, just a friend!" Lindsey exhilarated.

"Alright, I think I'm going to bed," Kitty didn't want to involve with whatever Lindsey was hiding from her.

"Kitty, wait," Lindsey held her wrist. "Can I ask you a big favor?"

"How big?" Kitty frowned.

"Kinda big," she giggled like a happy young teenager asking her parent for something.

Kitty knew something was going on. "Oh God, help me! What now?"

Lindsey took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, "Can you watch Bandit for me tonight?  I'll be back before she wakes up."

"Where are you going!? Don't do anything stupid, Lind!"

"I won't! Please!" she begged and pouted.

"I guess, but please be safe," she couldn't say no when Lindsey made that expression.

A few minutes later, a car pulled into Kitty's driveway; Lindsey got a message on her phone. She got up and rushed to the front door, and Kitty trailed her.

"I gotta go!" Lindsey exclaimed. "I love you, girl! I owe you one!" she said quickly.

"Lindsey, I don't like this," Kitty hesitated.

"I'll be okay. I promise I'll tell you soon. Bye!" she closed the door and walked away.

Kitty peeked from the window; she saw someone get out of the car. It was a guy, but she couldn't see his face clearly. He embraced Lindsey, and it looked like they kissed before both of them got into the car and sped off.

"What the hell?!" she muttered.

Kitty was wondering who that guy was? She knew sooner or later Lindsey would tell her, but this situation wouldn't be any good for Lindsey and Gerard. Suddenly, Kitty felt bad for letting her go, and she didn't know what to do. All she could do was hoping Lindsey still remembered her plan for tomorrow, which was technically less than 24 hours.
