"Just let them be Ali" Astoria urged
"I'm just saying"
"Both of you shut up" Pansy chipped in with her groggy sleep voice
Louder laughs emitted the common room interrupting her.
"Does Draco and his crew have some pathological need to keep everyone awake" Astoria said sitting up in her bed, her hair was in every direction.
"Seems so" I mumbled
"why can they not just use a spell? I'm sure their small brains must be able to do at least that" Astoria complained
"Greengrass, just get over it. Obviously they want to wake everyone, that's the point.. " Pansy said while lifting herself slightly to look at Astoria before dumping down on her mattress again.
"That, and I am convinced that they do not know how to do any spell I said and turned away from Astoria trying to cancel out the noise
"Do you know how important sleep is? We can get wrinkles" Astoria whined
"Shut up Astoria" Pansy yelled into her pillow
"I have also heard that being a bitch will give you long lasting pimples, something to consider pansy?" Astoria said crossing her arms
Pansy huffed in response.
"Let's just try to sleep" I mumbled while putting the pillow over my head.
And somehow we managed to sleep because suddenly light was breaking in through the window. Astoria was already up and humming, Pansy was still sleeping.. of course, but we made it through another night of the insufferable laughs of Malfoy.
"Finally, you still have some time to do your makeup! But you better hurry" Astoria said as soon as she saw me open my eyes.
"it's fine I don't need it," I responded said and went into the bathroom. There has not been one day where she does not try to make me wear makeup, I am not opposed to the idea of wearing it but not for classes.
"Your face says otherwise I heard being mumbled through the bathroom door
"Remember the long lasting pimples Astoria!" I reminded her while smiling to myself. Astoria is a good friend if I can even call her that. We have been roommates since the first year and now we are In fifth year. Of course Astoria has other friends that she is probably closer with, but she is the most tolerable to me beneath the girls.
A quick shower and prepping, then to put on clothes.
"well at least you have clear skin" Astoria said while studying it closely,
"it's just genetics, but I'm sure there's a spell for it somewhere as well" I assured her when i saw her checking her own skin. Astoria is not an insecure girl, however when it comes to skin she seems to be rather fragile. No one ever understands why though, because she has blank clear skin as well.
"You're right! I'm gonna find that spell, you'll help me right? After classes at the library"
"Sure it'll be great I smiled while finishing taking my clothes on, and grabbing my worn out bag. Astoria is always on my back about purchasing a new one, however I have not found it necessary to do so.
"Phft how pathetic, at least I don't need spells to look pretty" Pansy said while on her way to the bathroom. Pansy is the definition of a buzz kill, never happy with anything or anyone unless it is a boy she finds appealing.
