PROLOGUE | The Tsarista

Y/N stared down at the fallen splinters of wood and rocks, previously known as Liyue Harbour. Even though it was only a small dock with a few wooden houses, it was a creation that both she and Rex Lapis started on together.

"I thought we made a contract. To protect Liyue Harbour at all costs, and the rest of Liyue for the record. Now the only mortals in Liyue reside in Qingce Village. Minyun Village was also wiped out. I did my part, Morax, I defended Qingce. But what did you do?" Y/N whirled around to face Rex Lapis whose expression was of remorse, "I never expected the God of Contracts to break a contract," Her voice quavered as the golden eyes pulsating with regret and power bore into her own.

"Y/N. This misunderstanding of yours is going to far," Rex Lapis' reptilian body was coiled around a dying tree, bending slightly under his weight.

"The contract is broken," Y/N fingered the small necklace that bound her to the Lord of Geo before ripping it from her pale neck, "My power is far weaker compared to yours, but at least I keep my word. So far, only one has not let me down,"

The adeptus brushed a finger over the glowing Cryo vision that hung on her waist,

"It was a right decision to draw power from the Tsarista," Her tongue was no longer forced to hold back insults at the god, "Anyone foolish enough to draw elemental energy from you, Morax, I give them the best of luck,"

The former adeptus shivered slightly as she made her way through the corridors of Zapolyarny Palace. The icy walls were engraved with ancient carvings, repelling any monsters that dared venture this close to the Tsarista's dwelling.

Large doors opened for Y/N as she made her way to the foot of the throne,

"Your highness, what may have I done to earned the eyes of the Tsarista?" Y/N's words were laced with careful charm, she already presented herself with a death sentence with one of the oldest Archons in Tevyat. She didn't need two.

"Y/N..." The Cryo Archon's voice was light yet cold, "A very powerful and loyal member of my dear Fatui. I have a task for you. With your past experience in leadership and control, this shouldn't be hard for you,"

A small smile graced the cold lips of the Tsarista, "Y/N, 1st of the Fatui Harbingers,"

Ok so after the Fatui Harbinger vid dropped by hoyoverse I can finally confirm and clear up and confusion that when I say 1st of the Fatui Harbingers it means that Y/N is the strongest and most powerful, thus Childe will be wrong to duel with her.
