Logic's POV
Since Alex and Brei had the GPS walkies covered I decided to help out in any way I could. The wind had really started picking up and it was making it more difficult to walk around outside. Rachael and Jess had Corpse and I putting fly masks over the horses eyes to prevent a lot of dust and dirt from blowing up int their faces as we were quick to guide the horses into their collective stalls. A bright flash of lightning struck and a loud clap of thunder followed as  it shook the whole barn. We rushed around trying to make sure all doors were closed and locked. Once I was done with helping outside I headed into the office and waited to hear anything back from the girls.

Kierstin's POV
The further we had gotten from the barn the worse the storm got. The rain felt like hail as it pelted down on us and made it difficult for us to hear each other or even see each other. I looked up and saw Julia slide down off of Prince. She walked back and came over to us.

"Head back home. I can't afford to have you all out in this weather." She yelled to the group above the storm.

"What about you? You shouldn't be out in this either!" I yelled back.

"I'm going to head a bit further. I think I might know where he is then I'll head back I promise. I can't have the horses out in this weather though. Please head home." She said and I looked at her. I didn't want to leave her out here, but I knew between all of us the person who knew these back woods better was her and if we got lost then we would also have to be found by another group. I hugged her tightly and made her promise to come back soon and she did. We remounted our horses and headed back to the farm. The closer we got to the farm though the more I realized there was a loud siren going off and it was that type of siren then sent a shiver through your whole body. It was a tornado warning. We rushed the horses back to the barn where some of the group was closing everything up.

"Get the horses untacked and put away for the night we need to lock it down and then head to the storm cellar!" I yelled over the heavy wind.

Julian's POV
We saw the group of girls head back and I was glad to see Arlette again. I helped her get her horse untacked and put away. I walked forward and hugged her tightly.

"I'm glad you're okay." I said and she smiled softly.

"We'll celebrate later. For right now let's just get to safety." She said and I went with her and the rest of the group down into the storm cellar. It was clear by the looks on everyone's face that this was serious and we were all pretty scared. We all huddled closely together in the storm cellar with the one light on. We had listened to the siren and wind howling outside when Corpse spoke up.

"Wait...where's Julia?"

Julia's POV
The wind started getting harder to walk through and I covered Prince's eyes with my jacket as the rain turned into hail. I knew the weather was getting dangerous and I had to find shelter soon. I heard a loud barking cut through the wind.

"BEAR!!!!" I yelled and the barking continued. "BEAR!!!" I yelled again and followed the sound of the barking. I slide down a small dirt hill to an open field and I saw Bear laying next to something I couldn't quite make out through the rain. I ran over with Prince following close behind. I walked over and saw a new born foal. The mother's body was laying next to it and I could tell she had probably passed away from birth complications. The baby was fairly small, but still alive and Bear was laying with it.

"Good boy Bear!" I said as I pet his head and picked up the foal in my arms. When I looked up I saw the spiraling tornado cutting through the field. "Shit..." I said before I took my jacket and turned it into a makeshift halter. "Bear take Prince home! Go!" I yelled and he and Prince took off running as I looked around me and saw a small rock over look that had what looked like a small tight cave just beneath it. I carried the small foal and ran as fast as I could through the rough wind and rain and made it into the cave. I knew if I had tried to run home I wasn't going to have made it so I had to try and hunker down if I could and wait out the storm. I hunkered down and could only pray that the boys made it home safe.
