i wish i was in love.
i usually am the one who reaches out and confesses first whenever i catch feelings. but for once, i'm going to wait. i want someone to put in the time and effort to get to know me. to find out the little things, and not just like me for being "supportive" or "attractive."
whenever a person has confessed to me, i ask them what it is they like about me. you can get a clear idea of a person's intentions when they answer you. if they mainly describe what's on the outside ( such as your beauty and whatnot ), don't settle for it, love. get somebody who tells you about yourself. get someone who appreciates your little quirks and the things you may have said / done. get someone who wants to raise you up and take you higher.
you deserve the entire fucking universe, and you deserve someone who completely agrees with you, 100%. you deserve someone who'll fall head over heels in love with you. you deserve someone who wouldn't hesitate to drop anything and everything just for you.
you see, once you know you're the only one in their eyes, then they're in love.
but, be careful with their heart. take care of them if you love them just as much, okay ? a heart is made of glass. one wrong step and it'll shatter. finding someone who truly loves you is a difficult task. please don't waste either of your times if, deep down, you know it will end in pain. take care of yourself, love. aim for the good things in life.
