3° person POV

It was a still-sunny afternoon, the oranges and yellows were mixing in the sparsely clouded sky, (Y/n) and Nobara sat under a tree, the former reading a book while the ginger haired girl had her head on the other's lap looking at something on her phone, Kugisaki had gotten done with fall training with the second years and was barely able to stand straight afterward, a whine escaping her throat every other second.

"You want a pain killer?" (y/n) asked her, concern lacing her words "Nah, don't worry, I have to get used to this, if I can't handle the pain now how will I fair in the middle of a fight?" Nobara replied, raising her head a little and gesturing with her arms "Yeah but you have adrenaline to help you in that situation, not now" the (h/c)ette worried, marking her page with a finger and closing her book halfway to look a little closer at her girlfriend.

"Just... let me rest here" the ginger pleaded, a light blush dusting her cheeks as she placed her head back on the other girl's lap, after a hum from (y/n) and a short silence, a soft "What'cha reading?" rung out through the calm air "Just another book on poisons" came the reply "Any luck?" Kugisaki asked sleepily.

"Nah, maybe a cocktail of acids will do the trick but actually getting all this stuff will be the hardest part, you can't exactly walk into a drugstore and ask for hydrofluoric acid, although with a bit of luck and a good lab I can probably get some pretty gnarly stuff, ever heard of ricin?" (y/n) rambled, soft snores alerted the (h/c) haired girl to her girlfriend's sleeping state, with a soft sigh (y/n) placed a kiss on Nobara's forehead.

An hour later, the sun almost done with it's descent into the horizon, (y/n) glanced at the figure on her lap once more, petting her hair to try to wake her up, Kugisaki stirred and clenched her eyes with a groan, sleepily opening them and glancing up at her before closing them again and getting up, stretching her arms above her head.

"You wanna go get some boba?" She asked when she was done, (y/n) got up with a smile "Of course!" she replied, putting her book in her bag and stretching her own arms and legs before she held onto Nobara's hand and they went on their way to a nearby boba shop they both liked.

Timeskip
11:16PM Dogenzaka Alley

"Did you see that? wasn't that crazy? I was just there" the stitched-up curse commented "Patch-face..." (y/n) recalled "It's you right? the special grade cursed spirit causing trouble for our class clown?" Nobara inquired "Aw shucks, am I famous now?" it gushed, not showing it's surprise at being recognized "Yeah, famous for being a coward and running away" the ginger said with a mocking grin "through the sewers too" (y/n) said, hiding her own grin behind a hand, the curse smiling creepily and spreading his legs for a wider stance.

"I like ya' already, killing you two would be worthwhile" the lakeshore blue haired curse said "We don't have much to show for today... so you'll have to at least let me squash a bug like you" Nobara replied, whipping out her hammer and three nails 'I think his cursed technique has something to do with the soul... they told me ... not to let his hands touch me' the ginger thought, next to her (y/n) had a multitude of throwing knives at the ready 'Remember the feeling...from back then... feel the core of cursed energy!' the hammer wielding girl told herself readying herself and engulfing her nails in cursed energy.

Hitting them toward the heterochromatic curse, him dogging them pretty easily, (y/n) then made her move, throwing her knives all the way to the other side of the alley and out of sight, a sign above Mahito fell near him, this also being dogged without much effort "You missed..." the underwhelmed curse said, slight disappointment lacing his words, unbeknownst to him all the shots had gone exactly where they both had wanted them, suddenly, Nobara sprang forward, kicking the sign into the curse and planting two nails on the iron surface and jumping back to her girlfriend's side, the other girl making a gesture with her hand as if she was telling someone to come closer but the, no doubt startled, curse didn't have time to think about whether she was taunting him or what.
