"It's a wonderful day, the sun is shining, the birds are singing- NO- THE SUN IS SHINING" I hear my neighbor say, "Why are you getting so worked up about the sun?" I ask with a bored face. "WHAT ARE YOU? AN IDIOT!? WE'RE WATER IF THE SUN IS OUT WE GET EVAPORATED" They yell out in reply to my question.
"Oh yea, I guess that's true, nothing to worry about though? We go through this process a lot, a lot of us are old and it's nothing new" I pick up a book on the front porch and start reading as I reply to them. "YOU IDIOT, EVEN IF WE'VE GONE THROUGH THIS PROCESS, A LOT OF US MAKE NEW LIVES AND FAMILIES THAT WE DON'T WANNA GET RID OF" They shout back at me whilst throwing a rock my way to drop the book out of my hands.
"Mm well, that's not how it is for me, besides you could always just start a new life after precipitating," I say with a shrug while going to pick up the book that dropped on the ground. "YOU FOOL-" The neighbor yells then takes a deep breath as they continue talking "You'll understand soon," They say as they shake their head and go back into their molecule house.
"Mm, I don't think so" I shake my head while getting up to explore the sea to cure my boredom.
<Ah this sea is so boring, I've already explored most of it and there's nothing interesting, I just hope to get precipitated into a new ocean, river, or lake that I haven't explored yet> I think with a sigh that explains my ultimate boredom. <evaporation and precipitation, going up and reincarnating, there are so many ways to think of my life, it's just a cycle I've been doing for my whole life, its kinda miserable since you might get separated from your families when precipitating, yea sure, but I honestly see no point in creating families if they know that this is bound to happen> I shake my head as I continue to travel through the sea.
While traveling, I saw a bunch of familiar water droplets, well I have been living for over a million years so I pretty much know every water there is by now.
<Since the sun is out today, I should hurry up and get evaporated instead of waiting for the sun to make me a water vapor droplet> I say as I go towards the surface of all the waters, going up I see the sun and I just sit and wait for the sun to come to pick me up. I eventually got tired of just standing and waiting so I went near some dirt to lean against and sit down on.
Sitting down, I noticed a soil mumbling about something being worried. I was bored so I decided to ask them what was wrong. "it's nothing, nothing much really, it's just ...." the soil was mumbling a lot and speaking in a low voice so I couldn't really hear them. "Ah okay," I tell them turning my head the other direction.
"So what are you doing here?" I asked out of curiosity, wondering why a soil would be hanging around an ocean instead of with other soils. "Oh um, my friend, they wanted to come to visit the sea and uhm," The soil said mumbling more of their words. "Your friend wanted to come to visit the sea and?" I asked wondering why they stopped their sentence midway.
"And um, YOURSITTINGONTHEM" the soil yelled at really fast, I stood in confusion for a moment before I realized what they were saying. I quickly stood up and apologized "Oh- I am so sorry, I didn't know I was sitting on a still-living dirt- I thought most of them became soil- I am so sorry"
After standing up, I quickly ran off to a faraway area of the ocean while staring at the sun <Why isn't it picking me up, let me go c'mo-> halfway through my thoughts I started evaporating, "FINALLY-" I yell out of excitement.
Having reached my assigned cloud, I look around as a bunch of other water droplets start crying <Sheesh, won't they just chill? Please stop crying you are ruining my mood> Trying to ignore them, I go near the front hoping to be dropped off first. <The cloud still isn't filled with enough droplets so I suppose this will take time, might as well sleep>
