"I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. I was just..." I trailed off again, what was I going to say? 'Hey y/n I'm in love with you and was worried about you because I'm a werewolf and we have these things called mates and you're mine btw but anyways will you love me?' Really idiot?? You can't say that to her!

"No worries" she said looking up at me with a smile that didn't quite meet her eyes, she looked stressed.

Paul pov:

The rest of the car ride was silent until I dropped y/n off at Billy's house. I put the car in park and watched as the beautiful girl beside me hopped out of the car, she went to close the door but paused.

"Thank you for helping me out and for being so kind to me." Y/n said with a smile on her face.

"Any time" I said back with a smile, a look flashed through her eyes as her face got redder. I could tell she was uneasy. She nodded and shut the door.

I screwed up! I mentally cursed myself as I watched her enter the house before driving off towards Sam's house.

Y/n pov:

My mind was reeling as I walked into uncle Billy's house. Everything that had happened was playing through my mind as though it were a movie but it wasn't. It was real, every agonizingly embarrassing moment was real. I walked past the living room and into the kitchen pleasantly surprised that the house was empty. A note on the kitchen counter read:

"Y/n, Milla and I went into town to go grocery shopping we should be back around 3. Billy's out at a friends house with Jake so we left the number for the Swan residence in case you need to get a hold of them. Otherwise text me if you need anything!
Xoxo mom"

Thankful for the peace and quite I walked to my room grabbing my sweat pants and a tank top before heading to take a shower. As I entered the bathroom and turned on the water I couldn't help but catch a glimpse of my crazy bed head.

MY GOD! And he'd seen me like this??

I mentally screeched at myself before burying my face in my hands in embarrassment, my thoughts were pulled away as I noticed steam starting to rise signaling that the water was warm. I stripped of the hoodie before placing it on the counter as I discarded of the rest of the clothes on the ground before submerging myself in the hot water. Drips fell down my face as my brain hurriedly remembered ever detail of the night before. My face growing warmer and I know it's not just the heat of the shower.

"What an idiot." I grumbled, scolding myself as I sat in the shower overthinking the recent events in my life
