Feng's POV

"Your Highness!" I hear my loyal servant say. "What do you want, Lin?" I reply in a cold tone as I turn my head towards him.

"Your highness, please, you can't just sneak out right now, Your older brother's birthday banquet is about to start!" Lin starts bowing on the ground, hoping to convince me to change my mind.

"That's exactly the reason I wish to escape from the royal palace right now" I tell Lin as I help him stand up.

As I start putting on my disguise, I hear all my servants starting to groan out of exhaustion, "It's fine you guys, I'll be back before the sun starts setting, I just want to go have some fun" I tell them as I start admiring myself in the mirror.

"Your highness, that's not what we are worried about, we are worried that the emperor might punish you for not attending the 1st prince's birthday banquet the Empress herself hosted" Lin steps up and smacks the back of my head, he has gotten used to scolding and yelling at me since He has been my servant since I was a young kid..

"The current empress isn't even my own mother, why should I care?" I tell the servants as I use tai chi to fly out from my palace walls.

Sigh, I take a deep breath of freedom as I start walking around the streets. I'm gonna get some food first! I excitedly yell like a little kid inside my head.

Crunch I hear my mouth make a sound as I take a big bite of a tanghulu. Mhmmm it tastes just like how it did when I was younger, I can never get over this taste and feeling of nostalgia whenever I eat this sweet candy.

After finishing my candy sticks, I decide to go inside a teahouse to have a proper meal. "Everyone start gathering, the next story is about to be told!" I hear the storyteller say as I walk in. I go sit on the 2nd floor, where it doesn't seem like I'm listening but I can still hear the gossip the storyteller has to tell.

THe storyteller gathers everyone around him as he starts to speak, "It is said that there is a beauty in the Lotus Brothel. One who is more beautiful than the geishas, a person who hasn't slept with anyone yet but has stayed in the brothel for 5 years, a person who is so expensive that not even normal people can buy, but there indeed is a problem, This beautiful Oiran who hasn't lost their virginity is a male ......"

I turn my head, not believing that nonsense. If a person has stayed in a whorehouse for that long then it's obvious that they are not pure and rather a white lotus. I scoff at their remarks as I finish my food. I leave an iron ingot on the table as I start exiting the teahouse.

Sigh, my mood has now been ruined, might as well start heading back to the palace, I talk underneath my breath as I look at the sun.

While taking my time and walking back to the palace, I notice a wonderful scenery and I decide to stop by there for a while.

Breathes in, breathes out, "AHHH HOW NICCE THIS AIR IS, THIS WONDERFUL FEELING OF FREEDOM AND A AWESOME SCENERY TO WATCH" I yell out in a loud voice. Nobody from the palace will know it's me shouting, it's fine, I tell myself as I start yelling more things out letting go of all these troubles I've had as a prince.

I go sit next to a tree as I notice other visitors start leaving. While staring at the scenery my eyes start getting heavy.

Bop, My head starts aching. "What the hell" I say as I rub my head. I look up and then look down from the tree "Oh, it was just an apple" I smile at myself and then look at the sky.

"OH SHIT! IT'S ALREADY NIGHT TIME! I'M GONNA BE IN HUGE TROUBLE" I yell out as I hurriedly stand up and start running around the roads.

Crash, I bump into someone while running around. "I am deeply sorry, my apologies for bumping into, I didn't look at where I was going" I hear someone say. I look down and see a person bowing on the floor. "Oh it's fine, please get up, are you okay?" I ask the person in a concerned voice.

The person raises his head up, "Woah he is very pretty compared to all the girls I have seen" I tell myself. Oh no, he isn't hurt is he? He just keeps on staring at me. "Hello, sir are you okay?" I ask him wondering if he is okay or not.

"Ah! Yes, Thank you but I must get going now!" The stranger suddenly yells as he stands up. "I wonder where he is in such a rush to" I ask myself in my head.

I feel a warm cloth touch my cold hands. Hmm? What's this? Oh it's that person's scarf, wait scarf?-- I look at my hands in confusion again.

"Sir you dropped your scarf!" I call out to the rushing man after confirming that it is indeed a scarf that they dropped. He turns back to look at me, while waving his hands, he yells out "It's fine! You can keep the scarf!" He then goes back into the building he came from.

Why is he in such a rush? I ask myself as I am confused. I then look up at the building's sign he went into. LOTUS HOUSE, Oh he stays in a brothel. WAIT A BROTHEL--

He must be the guy they were talking about before in the teahouse. He is quite a beauty just as the rumors say. Badum, Badum, Badum, I hear a sound coming from my chest.

Oh no, I might've gotten a heart problem from staying outside for too long, I should ask the royal physician for a check up tomorrow. I say underneath my breath as I start walking towards the palace.

"YOUR HIGHNESS!" I hear my servant Lin call me. "Yes-" before I could complete my sentence, I hear a large smacking noise. Smack "OW! Lin why did you hit me?" I ask as I touch my back that's stinging in pain.

"Look at the time! It's later than what time you said you would come1!" Lin starts scolding me for being out for a long time.

"Lin, look it's fine. I came back as a whole didn't I?" I reassure him that I'm not hurt at all and that I had a lot of fun outside. "Yes, that is indeed a good thing that you came back alive" Lin says with a sigh and a worried look on his face.

"Hey! What's that supposed to mean! I can perfectly take care of myself without getting hurt you know!" I turned around to face Lin as I gave him this great remark I came up with.

"Yes, indeed you can take care of yourself" Lin says while pushing me inside to wash me up.

"Oh yeah, Lin I forgot to mention, I think I might have a heart disease" "WHAT DO YOU MEAN A HEART DISEASE? MAID #1 GO CALL FOR THE ROYAL PHYSICIAN TO VISIT TOMORROW! Now your highness, can you tell me why you think that" Lin asks me while squeezing my arm"OW! It's because earlier my heart was beating really fast and loudly for some reason" Lin then looks at me and sighs.

"Your highness, you might be in love and it might not be a heart disease" Lin looks at me while shaking his head. "But even so, we should still call for the royal physician just in case it actually is something serious"

Lin finishes washing me up as I tell him that I met a really cute boy from a brothel earlier, Lin just continues to listen to me and not replying.

After Lin finishes washing me up, he helps me put on my robe and rushes me to my bed."Goodnight your highness" Lin tells me as he shuts off all the candles. "Goodnight Lin" I say as I start yawning.

2 hours have passed and I'm still wide awake, maybe it's because I slept earlier on the tree. I twist and turn on my bed as the scene from earlier pops up in my head.

He really was cute, I don't think I ever got his name though. Next time I go out I'll make sure to visit the brothel he works at. While thinking about him my heart suddenly starts speeding up and my face heats up.

Oh no, did he biwitch me or something? Why does my heart keep beating a lot whenever I think of him?

I close my eyes hoping to not think of him anymore, but the more I try, the more I think of him. UGHHH, screw it I'll go find and talk to him tomorrow, I say as I forcefully close my eyes and try to fall asleep.
