I lazily lay in bed, scrolling through tiktok while I wait for my best friend George to finish his stream.

After a few minutes, I hear George finally say his goodbyes. I feel him lay down on the bed behind me, and put his arms around my waist while he nuzzles his head into my neck

"Hi Georgie" I say to him, still scrolling through tiktok

He responds by whispering "Hi" into my ear, which sends shivers down my spine. He laughs at my reaction and starts playing with my hair

Yes, he's my best friend. No, he's not my boyfriend. It may seem like we're dating, but we're not. This is what best friends do...

Right?

While I'm scrolling through my for you page, an edit of George pops up. I try to turn my phone off but George grabs my phone and turns around

"Hey give me that back!" I yell trying to grab my phone back

"Y/nnn~ you get edits of me on your 'for you page'?" He says with a cocky smirk on his face

"Oh, don't flatter yourself." I say before I snatch my phone from his hand and turn back around

He laughs while he puts his arm around my waist from behind me and nuzzles his head back into my neck, where he originally was

While we watch some more tiktoks, we hear raindrops hit the windows next to us. George gets up from behind me and throws the blanket off of me

"Heyyy what the hell was that for?" I say as I try to snatch the blanket back. He grabs my hand and pulls me out of bed, and drags me to the front door.

He quickly puts some shoes on and hands me mine before opening the door and running outside. "What the hell are you doing?" I ask him as I put my shoes on

"Come dance with me!!" He yells while running back to the door, grabbing my hand and pulling me into the rain with him

I laugh at how happy he looks as I run with him out the door, closing it behind me. "Oh my god you're insane"

He turns around, looks at me and laughs "I know."

It starts raining harder, and we both stop running. He pulls his phone out and plays some music

We jump up and down in the puddles forming from the rain falling down onto us, laughing and singing along with whatever song started playing

A few minutes pass and we stop dancing. He reaches one of his hands up, and tucks a strand of my wet hair out of my face

"You look so beautiful, Y/N." He stares down into my eyes and smiles

I smile back at him and say "Thank you, George."

"So... is this why you dragged me out here?" I ask as I look up at the sky, watching the rain fall

"Not really.. I just thought it would be a good time to finally do this." He says. I look back at him with a confused face before he quickly grabs my face with both of his hands, and crashes his lips onto mine.

Kissing him felt like pure bliss. It was perfect. The rain fell onto us as we were kissing, our clothes and hair soaking wet. One of his hands traveled down to my waist, and grips it tightly. I gasp, and he uses that as an opportunity to slip his tongue into my mouth. I let out a whine, and he pulls my body closer to his.

He pulls back and smirks down at me while putting his other hand down onto my waist, holding me tightly. "Excited, aren't we?" He says winking at me as he laughs. My hands grip onto the collar of his damp shirt and pulls his face closer to mine. "Oh shut up and kiss me" I say before bringing him into another kiss.

After a minute we both back away and look into each other's eyes as we both catch our breaths. "That was amazing" George says

"It was." I say smiling at him, my hands still holding onto his shirt. I let go and wrap my arms around his neck, wresting my head on his chest

"Y/n... I love you."

"I love you too George."
