Another One Of "Them"

The familiar noise from my phone sounds again, telling me that I have another message off of Facebook. The fight has been going on for about the past hour, messages thrown back and forth between the two of us. Picking up my phone, I turn it on and unlock it, the conversation popping up once again.

"Which girl are you?" Attached to the message is definitely an X-Rated video.

I shake my head, trying to make sure I don't throw up. I start typing a reply.

" Wow, thank you so much for all of your thoughts about me. And good job this time, you really burned me. And at first, I thought you would be different. An actual nice guy. But you turned out to be another one of "them". The kind of guy who says things to people to make them feel bad so they can feel more powerful. The kind of guy who bullies girls for fun, for amusement, or just because they are pissed off about one stupid little thing and need to take it out on someone weaker than them. Honestly. I didn't expect for you to blow up like that. So thank you for making me feel like shit. Bye."

I hit send and exit out of the conversation and into a new one with my other friend, Michael.

A message instantly pops up when I send "Hey."

" Did you message him?" He asks.

" Yeah." I sigh, leaning against the wall while sitting on my bed.

" Did he say anything yet?"

I sigh. " Not yet. He probably blocked me already."

I look out my window at the field by my house. My phone vibrates in my hand, and I look down, unlocking it once again.

" Who knows, he might read it and understand. Or he'll calm down and realize he over reacted." Michael says.

" Hopefully."

I click send and close my eyes. Another sound is made and I look down.

" I hope so, too." It's Michael.

I close my eyes again, falling into a nightmare.
